To ask how much you weigh if your a size 16/18?

I've put on loads of weight and would feel comfy being a 16 but it's a long way off.
I'm guessing I've about 8 st to lose to be a 16. I'm disgusted with myself

I am 5'5 and 12st7lbs. A size 16 bottom half and 14 top half. I'd love to be 10st 7lbs as i"m at 10/12 there..

I'm 5ft7 and a half and weigh 11st3. I have comedy tits (30j) but am relatively slim everywhere else - it's like the Maker ran out of normal sized ones the day I was made and just bunged on a pair that was lying about. Because of the tits I wear a 14-16 on top but a 10-12 on the bottom. Am amazed at people with similar height/weight ratios to me in size 16 all over. We are all different!!

Along with all the differences in shapes and shop sizes, personal taste is another factor I think. So I will wear tops that swamp me to cover all the bulges - means I am probably a 20 on top and a 14/16 on the bottom (another one with stupid tits and an apple gunt), but tend to cover it in a 22/24. I'd therefore say I am a 24. DP helpfully tells me that some of my tops make me look "like a block".

Whereas a friend who is about as overweight as I am and a similar shape wears tight tops because she thinks that makes her look smaller, even though they show off every single bulge. So she buys and says she is a 16.

People's preferences for covering v form fitting probably plays a part in the size discrepancies here too!

I was 14st, 5ft 5in and a size 16/18. I am now 11st 8.5lb and am a size 14 I reckon. Haven't actually bought new slimmer clothes yet as I have just been wearing a belt with jeans.

I lost my weight with sw. Still a stone and a half to go for target but my bmi is now 27 instead of 30 something. I feel much, much better. Not only for vanity reasons but health reasons too.

Some of these are baffling to me. Shows how different body shapes make all the difference.

It also shows how different clothes styles vary and sizes in different shops vary.

I'm 5'9 and 15 stone - I'm usually a size 16, occasionally an 18 in jeans.

I think a wee bit more than 13 stone, as I am 5.8 and just under 13 and I am a size 14

I'm 5'7" and weighed around 1.5 stones when i was a size 18.

I am 5ft9 and weigh 15 stones 2lbs. I am a size 18 on the bottom and a 20 up top. Size 20 dress.

I am on slimming world at the moment. In my head I was thinking I would move into a size 16 jeans around the 14 stone mark. Don't think I will be a size 16 up top until around 13 stone to be honest as I have big boobs.

I was 5ft9 and at 13stone 2lbs I was size 16.

I am 5'9 and 70 kg which is about 11 stones. I am a size 8/10. I am in 26" jeans. 12 is way too big. When I was pregnant I went up to 106kg and I was so shocked by that as I definitely didn't look or feel that big. And that's why I just don't bother weighing myself it's all too confusing.

I'm 5ft 8in I was 13st 9lb and a size 16 I was also in a 16 upto about 15st. At my very heaviest I was 16st 4lb and probably a size 18 but used to buy from the more generous shops to kid myself I was a 16.

BTW I'm a size 12 - 14 now (pregnant) having lost 5 stone and maintained 4st 5lb off for 5 years and another child. So you can totally do this!

5ft6' here and 14st and in an 18, sometimes 16 for a good fit.

Classic square as well so shoulders as wide as hips. I would say hourglass but that might be overplaying my waist a little...

5ft3 here and 14-16. Am 11st 10, currently trying to get back to a 10-12 after baby.

Just checked the bone thing, I've never been able to reach around skinny or fat 🤔

I can fit 2nd and third finger round with room to spare. 1st nearly connects as does little finger.

So this makes my frame medium?

My little finger overlaps, never mind my middle finger, but I have long thin fingers - surely finger length makes a difference?
