To be heartbroken at yet ANOTHER fave product being discontinued?

I have just discovered Thorntons have discontinued their strawberry fondant chocolate pigs, and I am quite frankly devastated. These have been my fave little treat since I was about 12, and now they are no more!

It's the latest in a long line of favourite products being discontinued - does anyone else get unreasonably irritated by this?! I'll start a list, feel free to add to it...

• Thorntons strawberry fondant pigs (sob)
• Benefit 'So Hooked on Carmella' perfume
• Lush Aqua Mirabilis (my thighs will never be the same again)

Also missed Pantene perfect curls shampoo & conditioner range!

Totally agree with lemonade 'Sparkle' ice lollies, Birdseye lemon Hot Crunch Pudding and Nestle Mingles. All big faves of mine!

Morrison's used to do a lovely garlic bread type thing with cheese and mushrooms in a foil tray. Was standard student 'we've been shopping' treat.

Anthon Berg Kiwi chocolate. Used to always get a box at the airport when I went on holiday. They were so delicious. I still mourn them. I even wrote to them and they recommended I try there other chocolates. They were nowhere as good.

Mingles were amazing. I miss Ben and Jerrys Chunky Monkey ice cream. Yes, One love is similar (both banana ice cream and both have choc pieces, but CM had walnut pieces, and OL has cookie dough swirl) but it's just not the same. The coffee cream roses chocolates, Revels with peanuts not bloody break your teeth caramel toffee. Kellogs Corn pops, yes nestle golden nuggets are similar, but again not the same taste.

One or two Tesco stores stocked Wowbutter (a 100% soya alternative to peanut butter but tasted identical) and now they've discontinued selling it, and i can't eat regular peanut butter as the oils in it give me an off tummy in less than 5 minutes. Can get it at Holland and Barrett but at £5 a tub and i don't live near one.
I HAVE THOUGHT OF A NOT FOOD ONE! I used to love going in the body shop as a kid and they had tonnes of glass bottles with glass dippers in with all their own range perfumes. I LOVED fuzzy peach, and they did a perfume stick (looked like a lip balm) called Ananya. More recently they stopped their jasmine perfume, which i bought my now deceased mum as she loved the smell of jasmine and i wanted a new one as it was a familiar lovely smell. Sure it was from there too that you could get icy lemon body wash, and also little soaps in the shape of fruits that smelled of the fruit they were shaped, came in nets like choc coins at christmas.
Those lollies from the ice cream man (i want to say boomer or something?) where it was 3 tiers, bottom was a slice of orange and orange flavoured, then a lemon shape that was lemon flavoured, and a strawberry shape on top strawberry flavoured, and it was like sorbet.

I don't even know if I made these up as no one seems to remember them! But I think they were called Wotsits Wafflers? And they were huge big waffle-shaped wotsits and were about 1000% cheesier than a normal wotsit. I loved them.

Oh, and Soap and Glory's first ever foundation. It was perfect for my dry skin and then they just up and cancelled it... Absolute monsters.

Oh and Ben&jerrys Cherry Garcia and Chunky Monkey ... they got rid of all the fruit ones and just added more chocolate/toffee/caramel flavoured ones which I can't stand :( Thank god One Love was released and for the Greek ones) x
