To be heartbroken at yet ANOTHER fave product being discontinued?

I have just discovered Thorntons have discontinued their strawberry fondant chocolate pigs, and I am quite frankly devastated. These have been my fave little treat since I was about 12, and now they are no more!

It's the latest in a long line of favourite products being discontinued - does anyone else get unreasonably irritated by this?! I'll start a list, feel free to add to it...

• Thorntons strawberry fondant pigs (sob)
• Benefit 'So Hooked on Carmella' perfume
• Lush Aqua Mirabilis (my thighs will never be the same again)

M&S Prairie Wheels, spring onion snacks

Marks and Spencer Fizzy Fish. Sour, fizzy, lemony deliciousness. They disappeared in the farce of overarching Percy Pig dominance of the gummy sweet section of Markies, but they are sorely missed.

Armani have discontinued Acqua di Gio??? Noooooo!

Chocolate Lovely. .....amazing texture... and as someone has already said, were best straight from freezer, scraping the chewy chocolate off as it melted.

Old English Spangles ....esp the mustard yellow and striped ones.

Bar Six...chunkier and less sugary than kit kat. Also not seen ether milk of plain Waifa for years!

Mint Cracknell, was this the one with long strands of minty sugar?

Country Style (red gingham wrapper with biscuits and raisins)

SHOWBOATS! different shaped chocolate cups with a layer of sponge and sickly butter cream and random decorations in the top. Came in box of 6 like Mr Kippings cakes. Used to eat filling with teaspoon then savour the chocolate shell. Never, ever just ate one whole.

This thread has just reminded me - Golden Cup and Coffee Walnut Whip - now I am in mourning all over again!

Michael Kors- Suede perfume- by far the most beautiful perfume ever but have to buy on US Amazon/odd bottle eBay at insanely hoiked up prices to get any

M&S- stop doing so many amazing products- they used to bring out this dip at summer, pecorino and pine nuts, was insanely yum, stopped it ages ago despite it always selling out in most stores
M&S also used to do this insanely yummy veggie Indian dish selection - including this rich, creamy mushroom korma, I stopped getting Indian takeaways and relied on this it was so good. Again, I'd be lucky to bag the last one from the shelf was always sold out and sometimes drove around different branches I LOVED IT THAT MUCH!!! Anyone working for M&S head office here please forward this. They now offer nothing similar for veggies in their Indian range.

Secret bars-chocolate mousse covered in a web of chocolate, crunchy and gooey at the same time mmmmm
ASDA vanilla fabric softener-just got into it and now I can't find it anywhere grrrr
Exclamation- was my mums favourite perfume, what I wouldn't give to smell that again (she died April 2000)
Fuse,spira,flyte (like milky ways used to be but lighter in calories) miss them all
Beef wotsits- can't stand the cheese ones
S&v ringos- ASDA used to do them in a 6 pack recently but dunno if they still do

Thornton discontinued a range of chocolates suitable for diabetics.

I miss m&s creamy black daal, it was amazing, it's been replaced by a normal daal which tastes like any other ready made daal you can buy

It was the only ready meal I actually liked (fussy about mash and I'm a vegetarian without a microwave, so I'm limited!)

And whatever happened to Kunzle Cakes? A layer of sponge covered in a moussey filling inside a chocolate cupcake shell, decorated with whipped cream and a jelly or chocolate sweet?

Cabanas anyone remember them? A chocolate bar with coconut, glacé cherries and caramel 😋

Aldi have just stopped doing a brilliant 3 in 1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash, faintly grapefruit scented - perfect for gym bag & travelling. No notice, no time to stockpile some - it's just disappeared.

Briscoes do a range of jellies inc a Curious Chilli jam , much better than the M&S one. Only in farm shops and craft fairs but can buy them all online I think

I hate it when things get discontinued. Mine were.
Impulse - Spirit. (The smell was amazing)
Body collection - pink petals (again, smelt amazing)
Cheryl Cole eyelashes, they were the best eyelashes I'd ever used.
Cadburys used to do a sharing bag of chocolates, they were raisin and corn flakes covered in chocolate, and they discontinued them. /:

Mr Blobby Pink Lemonade in little cans from Woolworths.

Dainty Doll make up range from Nicola Roberts for redheads. Foundation is always orangey on me.

Also, D&G feminine got discontinued. The smell of my teens.

seagull omg clusters! They were bloody amazing...arses for discontinuing them!!

Faded.. proably because they are unsafe as they mislead to thinking they safe to eat in bulk. Diabetic choc isnt good. If you are diabetic and really want choc you far better off with one piece of good quality choc to seeing diabetic choc and eating alot of it. Its misleading as you think its safe. Please talk to a diabetic dietism. (Dyslexic here)

Body Shop marshmallow shampoo and conditioner

When I was a teen I loved Dalepak Chinese pork grills then one day they vanished never to be seen again. Salon Selectives shampoo and conditioner which smelt amazing. I had to go brunette after Garnier stopped selling their Lumia ash blond hair colour, Secret bars and Spice girls Impulse.

Oh and banana toffo's I loved those things.
