Sick of drivers bumping their cars up onto our garden, over new year I installed big fuck off rocks and painted them white.
Apparently this is not a big enough clue that it's private property and CorsaCunt has chucked them about to do what suits HIM, leaving a sodding great hole in the grass where the rock used to sit.
Sadly I had to leave for work otherwise I would have been staking the car out to confront the tosser.
Absolutely livid!

If you've got his Reg number and you felt under threat you report should report him to the police.

To be clear: If he only swore at you, it's not an assault but if you 'felt under threat' it is technically an assault.

Some constabularies will tell you to forget it but others take such threats very seriously.

Snotgobbler99 · 28/02/2017 20:51

Oops! "You should report him to the police"

bigearsthethird · 28/02/2017 20:55

Oh wow. Should've replaced that rock through his rear window after all

HarryPottersMagicWand · 28/02/2017 21:04

Oh dear. Unfortunately he has proven what a dick he really is. No considerate person would park move the rocks and park like that in the first place.

I was going to say shove the rock back by the end of his car and a bit underneath it, henwill damage his car andnhe can't blame anyone as it will look like he just reversed into it and he can't really admit he has moved something on private property. I'd phone 101 and ask for advice tbh.

Loving your work though OP.

FairfaxAikman · 28/02/2017 21:19

Snot I'm in Scotland and there is an offence of "acting in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause someone fear or alarm", which he certainly falls under

HappyFlappy · 28/02/2017 21:19

He insist that he would park there again and there was nothing I could do to stop it

We'll see about that.

Firstly - go to the police. You felt intimidated - that makes it an assault.

You are wise to keep your vehicle out of the way, This man s a piece of work - don't put yourself at risk.

However you can use a match to keep the little thingy on is tyre open and let the air out. No damage - just a PITA for him.

FairfaxAikman · 28/02/2017 21:22

Plan is just to replace the rocks EVERY TIME he moved them for now. He can't have a go at me for touching my own property and it will inconvenience him.
I have an appointment to go to the police and make a formal statement tomorrow.

What a shithead. I would definitely dig a ditch behind the kerb. Hell if I were closer, I'd dig it for you.

TheOnlyLivingBoyinNewCork · 28/02/2017 21:33

No, the feelings of the person are not enough to create a crime of assault.

TheOnlyLivingBoyinNewCork · 28/02/2017 21:34

OP totally can report him to the police though, for various reasons.

honeyroar · 28/02/2017 21:43

Horrible man. Time for some more and heavier stones? Make it hard work for him to park there? You may have to have them put in place professionally, but it'd be worth it to watch him give himself a hernia trying to move them.

Love your award, by the way, I must copy that! How about doing another "No cunts in Corsas" sign?

Parrcful · 28/02/2017 21:49

I'd find some sort of grease & daub it all over the rocks Angry

PurpleMinionMummy · 28/02/2017 22:36

If it's private land can you wheel clamp him?

Jux · 28/02/2017 22:44

Fairfax, how frightening. Awful behaviour on his part.

Can you get a policeman to actually attend when he's parked there (if he does it again, and he may decide that always moving rocks is more trouble than it's worth).

AHobbyaweek · 28/02/2017 22:51

He deserved the arsenal on that certificate! I think quick drying cement or just vaseline on the rocks ready for tomorrow.

MyWhatICallNameChange · 28/02/2017 22:58

Put the rocks on his car. The shit.

MichaelSheensNextDW · 01/03/2017 01:44

Oil the rocks so he drops it on his own foot.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 01/03/2017 01:51

That's really bad. I would definitely follow that up with the police, yes. And try and cement the rocks in place, plus get more and bigger ones. AND spikes. And maybe some yellow paint - is it illegal to paint your own double yellow lines?

Toadinthehole · 01/03/2017 03:35

I agree that his behaviour was very poor. However, I think a clear but polite note would have been better. Your notice was not funny, was needlessly inflammatory, and I'm not sure how you could have hoped to achieve what you really want, which is for him not to put his back wheels over the edge of your property.

All the same, I hope the police will take this matter with the seriousness it deserves and deal with it accordingly.

TheMaddHugger · 01/03/2017 04:29

No please do not blame the victim

Toadinthehole · 01/03/2017 05:38

A person who picks a fight and gets a reaction isn't a victim in any meaningful sense.

The OP swore at the driver first by calling him an arsehole. The only difference is that she even did it in print.

FairfaxAikman · 01/03/2017 05:54

Difference is he has no proof that note was mine Toad
