Sick of drivers bumping their cars up onto our garden, over new year I installed big fuck off rocks and painted them white.
Apparently this is not a big enough clue that it's private property and CorsaCunt has chucked them about to do what suits HIM, leaving a sodding great hole in the grass where the rock used to sit.
Sadly I had to leave for work otherwise I would have been staking the car out to confront the tosser.
Absolutely livid!

No Chap. If he was an owner he wouldn't need to park on the grass anyway as he'd be entitled to use the car park which is also jointly owned.

Top marks for the amazing diagram.
Do you know your local rugby team.... or could the farmer friend come with a forklift and shove the Corsa back onto the road - carefully replacing the rocks.... then phone the police about the obstruction and they'll tow it.

Do my eyes deceive me, is there also a white line along the boundary? You could continue the line with white tape up the side of his car, over the roof and down the other side.

Otherwise a little notice on the side of the grass: I have accidentally spilt a tin of tacks and nails in the grass here - so it woud be most unwise to park. Then if he - or anyone else - ever parks like that again ensure that a nail finds its way into their tyre.

Benedikte2 · 28/02/2017 12:58

As it's likely only this rock will be moved for parking get some quick set cement and tonight secure the rock. Next time he tries this hell herniate himself

BurningBridges · 28/02/2017 13:09

So that blue car at the left hand front of the photo - how can they get out later? Is anything parked behind them? Is CorsaCunt blocking them in?

LadyPW · 28/02/2017 13:51

A note on his windscreen first (very securely placed obviously) to tell him it's private property and he is not to park there again.
And when he ignores that and does it again I'd be surprised if the local squirrels don't damage his back windscreen wiper or let his tyres down.... (Not that I normally advise illegality - but thoughtless individuals wrecking other peoples' property deserve karma) (and the squirrels should avoid leaving paw prints)

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 28/02/2017 14:00

(very securely placed obviously) With a rock?! [helpful].

melj1213 · 28/02/2017 15:06

I would be putting a note on the windscreen to say not to move the rocks but I would also be going to the council to ask if there is anything to be done to stop people parking on the gardens.

Also, do you have any local FB groups? There are a few FB groups for my town (one specifically for highlighting "idiot drivers" and bad parking) and if someone repeatedly parked that way, and then went to the extent of moving rocks then there would be posts (with pictures) all over them and the owner will probably eventually be tagged as people point out how unreasonable they are and for some reason, after public shaming they invariably stop ...

QuizteamBleakley · 28/02/2017 15:19

One of these under the windscreen may help - even though it's not entirely relevant.

FairfaxAikman · 28/02/2017 15:42

I actually left this under the windscreen with a hand-written note scrawled at the bottom stating the grass and rocks were private property.

I agree with a previous poster to dig a narrow ditch running across the grass- just enough so that car owners won't be tempted to drive too far up! 😁

bigearsthethird · 28/02/2017 15:59

I've skimmed over some posts so forgive me if already been answered. of course he/she shouldn't park on the grass, massively inconsiderate? But it doesn't look like a garden from the picture. How many people who own it use it as a garden, do you sit out in it? Is there anything there to make it feel like a garden is what i'm asking. perhaps he/she thinks the council owns it. Could you all as residents get together and petition for a fence? Or ask everyone to agree to put up a sign at least?

I love the certificate, and this thread needs to be in classics due to the quality of that diagram Grin

youarenotkiddingme · 28/02/2017 17:02

Paint "private property" onto the big white boulders.

I have to say they obviously really wanted to park there if they've gone to the trouble of moving a giant boulder!

Perhaps you could add a flower bed there with boulders - but I'm wondering if that would stop anyone? They clearly don't care!

FuzzyFalafelz · 28/02/2017 17:03

Brilliant diagram. Brilliant certificate.

FuzzyFalafelz · 28/02/2017 17:04

What about randomly placed gnomes?

Gingernaut · 28/02/2017 17:16

Angrier, fuckier, randomly placed gnomes, with pitchforks, cemented into place with penguins.

HappyFlappy · 28/02/2017 18:28

What Gingernaut said. But also the "Private property" one - painted on the car with an arrow pointing to the grass.

Foslady · 28/02/2017 19:26

Sunken garden a la Blue Peter would be nice there.....

FairfaxAikman · 28/02/2017 19:31

Rather scary update:

Arrived home this evening and as I parked I noticed ALL the rocks seemed to be missing (as far as I could see).
I noticed CorsaCunt driving past, heading as if to go to the exit but I noticed him go into the private car park on the right hand side.
I went over to the grass and saw the rocks had been moved into a pile (which I hadn't seen due to a parked car) and as I took a photo he drove towards me with his headlights now off and asked demanded "Did you put a note on my windscreen?" Sensing he was going to be confrontational I denied it he then told me I can't put anything on a car without permission (bollox!) and said the rocks had damaged the grass more than him moving them.
I pointed out it was private property and I was within my rights to put the rocks there and he had no right to park there or move them.
He insist that he would park there again and there was nothing I could do to stop it and swore repeatedly at me before driving off.
Luckily I have the photos I took this morning and was able to film part of the confrontation.
I've put the rocks back, called the police and have parked my car in a different part of the complex as I'm now worried he will damage it.

Very shaken though.

Also, to everyone saying build a fence or border.. This used to be a nice fenced flowerbed
