I think this is a direct snub of the media (which is amusing, as I suspect most of them are glad he's not coming), but anticipate this is the way it's going to go now - he will utterly bypass all media except his lapdogs and that's it.

I saw something saying that Pence would be going, but it's not been mentioned today on Twitter that I've seen.

Remember that 5yo boy they held in detention at the beginning of the Muslim ban for 4 hours in handcuffs because they said anyone could be a threat?? I don't recall seeing this at the time, but that boy was a US CITIZEN who lived in Maryland with his mother. His mother (who was travelling with him) is Iranian by birth.
