Not in what they say or their objectives, of course, but someone on MN described Batmanghelidjh as cultivating a flamboyant appearance in order to bemuse and distract, to set a scene of "Look, see how I break your boring old rules - normal rules don't apply to me."
I can't see Yiannopoulos without immediately thinking of her.
