Ivana has kept an invisible profile since the campaign started, cozie. I can't decide if it's because she's still financially tied/dependent on him, if her kids have applied undue pressure on her, or if it's just that she feels much more 'European' than 'American' and so doesn't care enough to be directly involved.

Personally, I think it's her kids. They're all enjoying and benefiting from this and I have a feeling they're all ruthless enough to have said "If you say one thing, we will cut you out of your grandchildren's lives like a cancer".

I've always rather liked Ivana. Spoilt socialite, to be sure, but she's always seemed to be as much of her own person as she could be.

Ginger I think she played a bigger role with 'PR' than he would be willing to admit. Certainly I expect that she was a 'soother over' and 'behaviour explainer' with business contacts after they'd dealt with him! She always had a better social persona than he did, for sure!

Wouldn't surprise me about the 'no work' clause, although I think that Marla Maples was looking for a meal ticket when she married him as she'd never really established herself in a successful career, unlike Melania. I think Melania (who had a successful modeling career) was looking more for security as she knew her earnings potential as a model would wane with the years as opposed to just a 'meal ticket'. She knows that Trump has the ability to financially 'back her' in establishing her 'brand'.

I've always thought the wall is a great way for DT & friends to make $$$$$$ out of his presidency. He'll choose who supplies everything from planning to labour. It'll be started (they will all get their money) and the wall will remain unfinished.
