woman I think the assertion is that they have totally been harvesting data and are being investigated by Facebook for this. However, their claims to have been creating super targeted ads that swayed voter opinion are at best overstated at worst completely fabricated.

There was a lot of stories based on their PR that they had effectively made trump president. It was discussed on earlier threads here. However, this suggests that the idea that people were manipulated in this way is a bit of a myth.

If another company has done what Cambridge analytica claimed then why are they not shouting about it? Unless of course we think it was nefarious influence such as the Russians.

It seems a bit suspect to me as I can't see why they wouldn't want the data? If it supports them they could use it for PR and if it didn't they would just ignore it anyway.

Seneca, that clip is interesting for more than the press conference being the final nail in Haywards decision. His demands to re-instate the previous set up for the NSC removing Bannon from any input/interference & being able to report directly to SCROTUS were terms he couldn't secure. It does make you wonder who will take the role on & on what terms that would be i.e. will anyone be able to secure the NSC to be free from Bannon's interference?

It was also widely reported that Harward referred to the offer as a "shit sandwich."

'Southern White House'. Ha, he's channeling Richard Nixon again. Nixon called his home in San Clemente CA the 'Western White House'.

Again, I don't have a problem with a president having a second home, per se. A number of presidents had them, including JFK and Lincoln, and most of them 'retired' to those homes after their terms ended. But these were private residences. Mar a Lago isn't a 'second home' in the traditional sense, it's primarily a Trump business enterprise, not a home, and he's using the Office of the Presidency to increase profits at that business. Sad!
