To just love a tiny toiletry

Off to Budapest on Thursday for a short break. I was in Superdrug today grinning like a loon at the scaled down bottles of Original Source when I nearly disappeared up my own bum with excitement at the miniature John Frieda Frizz Ease range. Maybe it's because they make me feel like I'm playing with dolls house bathroom products but I just adore them 😍

My favourite is the tiny Johnsons talc. I've not figured out a way to refill it though Sad

YANBU

I took positive joy in the hell of going to toddler swim, on account of the miniature Johnsons Baby Bath bottle I'd snapped up for the shower afterwards. It looked so cute.

Smallangryplanet · 13/02/2017 22:30

Love a mini. A have a box in my spare room full of little bits guests may need.

Best hotel toiletries were in Hotel Indigo, they were Aveda. Oh was not allowed to share them.

RJnomore1 · 13/02/2017 22:33

Best tiny toiletries are when you get them in hotels.

I do love a teeny toiletry

EnglishGirlApproximately · 13/02/2017 22:34

Ooh, I've checked into a lodge today for a mini break - my tiny toiletries (liberated from previous holidays) are sitting in the bathroom waiting Smile My favourites are the white company miniatures from a p&o cruise - had them ages, wouldn't dream of using them at home! Confused

HemanOrSheRa · 13/02/2017 22:35

Ooooo. I love tiny toiletries. I bought us a full compliment to go away last year. We had delicious toiletries included at our hotel too so came home with the most epic amount of lovely miniatures.

Mind you, after that, I stayed in the most AMAZING place. Seriously. They gave you handmade toiletries, so gorgeously beautiful . In big beautiful handmade pots Angry. A few of us grumbled about that at breakfast, I can tell you.

Welshmaenad · 13/02/2017 22:37

I stayed in a posh hotel in bath last year that did tiny REN toiletries. And made friends with the housekeeper.

GET IN.

BikeRunSki · 13/02/2017 22:38

My first bf's mum used to work for a marketing agency who organised posting samples of things through people's doors (back in the early 1990s). She was a b*h in many ways, but she kept me supplied with tiny toiletries etc for backpacking. Do you remember that "instant tea" powder you could once get? I had hundreds of samples of that, I don't think she could give it away!

cafenoirbiscuit · 13/02/2017 23:03

Duty free teeny cosmetic sets for travel .... mmmmm ..... more interesting than the alcohol and Toblerone Smile. I want them all

KenDoddsDadsDog · 13/02/2017 23:05

I love them too. Even little fabric conditioners that I take on holiday . I have a drawer full !

SumThucker · 13/02/2017 23:08

I love them too, including the tiny miniature perfume bottles you can get.

SingaSong12 · 13/02/2017 23:20

I love them. Started by getting shampoo for swimming. Progressed to full sponge bag for holiday. I keep it stocked so I can grab and go in an emergency. Not dexterous enough to do the decanting- I'd make a mess either spill from the big one or not screw the cap on tight enough.

Smallangryplanet · 14/02/2017 00:04

White Company miniatures you say?

SoleBizzz · 14/02/2017 00:11

I lo e the tiny bottles of shampoo etc you get in hotels. I can't racist taking them home with me.

altiara · 14/02/2017 00:43

Got loads and loads of elemis minatures on holiday, love them, they make me feel like I'm at a spa! Gave DD (10) some for her Y6 residential trip along with empty mini clarins pots filled with her own hand cream. Hoped her teachers wouldn't see what she had packed!

glueandstick · 14/02/2017 00:43

@HemanOrSheRa

Where was this place? I can easily be persuaded to go on holiday where ever there are free minis.

I was pregnant at the time and noticed that we had only been left one shower gel (l'occitane) but there were TWO of us in the room. I actually cried. Housekeeping gave me a box full 😂

HemanOrSheRa · 14/02/2017 01:58

Oh. No no no. No crying. We stayed here ikosresorts.com/resorts/ikos-oceania/ with Anne Semonin products.

MumBod · 14/02/2017 02:42

I don't know why, but this thread is hilarious.

Especially 'I can't racist them' and 'GET IN'

You have made an insomniac very happy and excited for her holiday on Friday

MumBod · 14/02/2017 02:46

Btw, my local Sains does titchy Aussie shampoos and conditioners. Guess what I'm buying tomorrow?

PitilessYank · 14/02/2017 02:47

Wow! My tribe!

I have a set of tiny toiletries in my car just in case I am caught in a snowdrift, a set in my office at work so I can use them if I need to freshen up, and a set at home in case anyone is visiting.

PitilessYank · 14/02/2017 02:50

I will say it does take me a few extra swipes to cover my armpits with my tiny deodorant stick. That's a downside.

PitilessYank · 14/02/2017 02:51

Does anyone have one of those folding toothbrushes? I have six, one for me, and one for the other members of my family for when they finally realize that they each need one.

PitilessYank · 14/02/2017 02:53

Some hotels also provide little sewing kits, those are great.

KoalaDownUnder · 14/02/2017 02:58

My L'Occitane advent calendar gave me TWENTY FOUR DAYS of tiny toiletry joy. They're all in my bathroom looking unbelievably cute.

EnvyEnvyEnvy

I can't remember the last time I was this jealous.
