We're getting a takeaway and having a movie night. With all three kids (two teens and a 5yo).

We really know how to celebrate Grin

The valentine's Bunny my lovely Dad always delivers a personalised, wrapped box of maltesers for each person (that's 4 kids and 7 grandchildren...) in the middle of the night to be found on the doorstep in the morning.

How does it look in your house? Hotbed of steamy romance or just another weekday?

Rixera that is lovely. I hope you have a fab day!

newbie789 · 13/02/2017 21:31

I'm going to the dentist :(

MatildaTheCat · 13/02/2017 21:35

I have a highly romantic date to look forward to. My PIP appeal tribunal. Hmm

Hoping that they are humans who overturn the bizarre and unfair decisions made by the DWP when all the evidence says my condition is unchanged and always will be. They said they knew better. Sad

Am at my DM's with DS for a quick half term visit and DH is at home with DD. I bought him a card and DS and I wrote it. I'll just put this here, I said this morning, it will be a surprise for Daddy tomorrow.
DADDY THERE'S A SECRET shouts DS (5).
Tomorrow I'm going to take DS to a fun museum with my dad. And then stay in with my DM and watch documentaries I expect.

Sparkletastic · 13/02/2017 21:37

I'm planning to leave DH to start a new life with your dad OP.

But if I'm stuck with DH we exchange cards and gifts and I've got a Waitrose dine in for 2 complete with chianti in a wicker basket. #oldskool

Essie - thats so sweet of your Dad! What a treasure!

This is first valentine with DP - we dont live together. We are going for dinner & a movie.
I've a single rose and pancakes for DD's brekkie in the morning.
DD asked me if she could buy a box of Ferrero Rocher for her teacher, so they are ready to go.

HelloCanYouHearMe · 13/02/2017 21:39

Im going to watch Tom Hardy on CBeebies!

Wheresthattomoibabber · 13/02/2017 21:39

Going to the cinema and out for dinner with my awesome best friend (who is currently single and her kids are with their dad abroad). DH is staying at home with our three plus DDs friend! We don't normally do anything so I don't feel guilty.

Tastesjustlikecherrycola85 · 13/02/2017 21:41

I have a smear test in the morning, how romantic Blush

Oldraver · 13/02/2017 21:42

Well OH will come home from work at 6.15 (knackered) and usually goes to bed by 6.30. I probably wont get up until later and OH in the afternoon so will probably exchange cards when he comes round unless I can manage to wake at 6 ish and jump him

We very romantically exchanged presents in Morrison car park on Thursday...

Weedsnseeds1 · 13/02/2017 21:43

I'd forgotten it was tomorrow, but have taken OH on a work trip with me this week, so he gets to swan around central Cape Town doing touristy things and I get to work in the industrial area - lucky me!

Bloodybridget · 13/02/2017 21:43

We have DGS (who is very dear indeed) for the day and overnight. Thinking of a museum or two, maybe some baking and a game of something; in the evening I have choir rehearsal and DP will take him out for fish and chips. I do have a card for DP.

CurlsandCurves · 13/02/2017 21:44

Feck all.

But then we don't do birthdays or Christmas presents for each other. We'd rather keep the cash to do something together when we want to e.g. a night out or weekend away if the parents will have them.

dementedma · 13/02/2017 21:48

30 years married this year so fuck all.
Dh wouldn't know a romantic gesture if it bit him on the arse and we're skint anyway

Oldraver · 13/02/2017 21:49

Oh I forgot....we will still probably have the same cooked breakfast for dinner we have on OH's first night off.

I think I will go all romantic and cut the black pudding in a heart shape

derxa · 13/02/2017 21:52

We've exchanged cards already. Unfortunately I'm 350 miles away. Love you DH and have done for 33 years.

derxa · 13/02/2017 21:55

I have a highly romantic date to look forward to. My PIP appeal tribunal
Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/02/2017 21:59

Pretty much a usual day, although I've bought DH a houseplant, Gosford Park on DVD and a card.

Libitina · 13/02/2017 22:06

DH is away on a course and I shall no doubt be stuck at work.

TheseAreTheGoodOldDays · 13/02/2017 22:06

Day trip with DP and DSD to a zoo :) can't wait, I'm hoping the weather stays dry...
Then might treat ourselves to tea out on the way home.

gentlydoesit89 · 13/02/2017 22:11

We're both at work until 5ish, then I'm staying over like I do on Tuesdays, cooking dinner and giving him his gift (some geeky poster thing he wanted last October.. I play the long game).
I guessed my present the minute it arrived so he let me have it early last week..

Quite romantic for a couple who declared we hate valentines/anniversaries/general romance on our first date Grin

Schtinkay · 13/02/2017 22:12

Great sex, making brownies then a film.

PippaPug · 13/02/2017 22:13

First one with new boyfriend and I have a little pile of presents to open tomorrow (don't see each other during the week) I know what two of them are I think though, very sweet and unexpected of him!

I feel a bit bad - I only got him a card!

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 13/02/2017 22:13

DH has booked a room in a country hotel. He'll be sharing it with one of his oldest friends, they are attending a funeral nearby. I might take the kids to see the Lego Batman Movie.

allowlsthinkalot · 13/02/2017 22:17

Dh will be taking ds to Judo and I will be at home with three dd's and the cat.

Last year he got me a steam cleaning mop, I'm not sure how he's ever going to top that.
