We're getting a takeaway and having a movie night. With all three kids (two teens and a 5yo).

We really know how to celebrate

The valentine's Bunny my lovely Dad always delivers a personalised, wrapped box of maltesers for each person (that's 4 kids and 7 grandchildren...) in the middle of the night to be found on the doorstep in the morning.

How does it look in your house? Hotbed of steamy romance or just another weekday?

Re M&S, we went for tomato & camembert tart, duck legs, wedges, millionaires shortbread. All very tasty.

I had sex a couple of times in the week I went into labour - might be worth a try.

It's the worst, I hated everyone.

We'll be working, then I have a meeting in the evening about a fundraising event. We might squeeze in dinner between, but we are both on diets

Dp: "What are we doing for Valentine's?"
Me: "We don't do Valentine's!"
Dp: "But hear me out, it'll be romantic. The 14th is Tuesday so that means Domino's Two For Tuesday"

Romance is alive and well in this household...

I have parents evening so nothing romantic

DH will be away so I'll be having a romantic evening of fishfingers and maths homework with DD and DS

Going for a meal with DH's crazy aunt. Yay.

We do buy cards though :-)

Frozen pizza, splash of red wine for me (pregnant), glass for him I reckon. Netflix, or rent a movie maybe. Or just watch some basketball on catch up.

He has a busy week at work - board meeting and results announcement, so will be stressed. My boss is off and I'm taking the "be reactive, keep it ticking over" approach this week. One of us is winning this week.

There'll be cards, a nice meal out for 2, he'll make me cake and bring me roses, and we are going away for the weekend together.

We have booked to stay in a hut in the garden of a country hall this weekend I hope the weather warms up a bit!

I'm being induced tomorrow on Valentine's Day, so no romantic plans for me 😂

Husband is taking the afternoon of work. In the evening we're dragging our teenagers out for a meal at a Greek restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary with us. 32 years.

I'm seeing dp for a quickie tomorrow morning. Ever the romantic, as always.

Well when I realised this morning that tomorrow is Valentine's Day and mentioned it to dh his response was "oh fuck when am I gonna get to the shops between now and tomorrow?" So I'm not expecting much maybe he'll pilfer the stationary cupboard and make me a card??

We are going to local hotel, they are screening Casablanca, my absolute fav movie, they are providing popcorn chocolate and drinks :) can't wait, we don't get out much lol

I'm booked to donate blood! Blood service have texted to remind me about half a dozen times - suspect they cannot believe anyone's Valentine plans are that dad!
