Colleague leaves chair in the aisle - WIBU to hide it?

We sit in rows in an open plan office, every time the person behind me gets up they push their chair out and leave it in the aisle. They have been asked twice to push it under their desk when they get up but they don't.
WIBU to hide it when they're away from their desk??

'Accidently' spill your coffee all over it.

Pollyanna9 · 10/02/2017 20:05

We must know the outcome to this important heath and safety at work notification -(not placemarking, really I'm not)-

boredwithabrokenfinger · 10/02/2017 20:05

Do it! Do it! Do it!

Someone used to leave their unwashed cereal bowl in the sink every single day... One day I threw it in the bin before I went home. Grin

AristotlesTrousers · 10/02/2017 20:07

Every time he does it, replace the chair with a 'comedy chair' - loads of mileage there (as long as you have access to lots of different chairs - otherwise you'll have to get inventive!). Grin

Bettercallsaul1 · 10/02/2017 20:09

Could you hold a meeting and put it to the chair? Table a motion?

TheFirstMrsDV · 10/02/2017 20:14

We had a colleague who would take his coat off and hang it on the back of SOMEONE ELSE'S CHAIR every day Shock
What kind of a person does that?

Even thinking about it makes me cross.
Bastard

HappyFlappy · 10/02/2017 20:16

If he'd hung it over my chair I would have assumed it was a gift and gone through the pockets --and maybe "accidentally" left a little billet-doux in one of them^.

MadMags · 10/02/2017 20:28

Bubble wrap the fuck out of it!

Beeziekn33ze · 10/02/2017 20:30

While teaching I yelled SHOELACE most days to draw attention to undone ones. I sometimes almost yell it in public places...

2017SoFarSoGood · 10/02/2017 20:36

I am finding it very difficult to stay in my office and work. Totally tempted to take a tour the building seeking any 'out of line' chairs. Grin

glitterazi · 10/02/2017 20:37

Haha, I really think you need to do the airhorn underneath idea Grin Grin
as I'm a little but evil and the thought of a great big HONKKKK!" and them jumping out of the seat in bewilderment is too funny Grin

CaveMum · 10/02/2017 20:37

Shame you can't encase it in jelly Wink

Did anyone else see the rogue "4th floor stapler" pictures on the Innocent (smoothie & drinks people) Facebook page? Someone "kidnapped" a stapler in their office with the words "do not remove from 4th floor" on it and posted pictures of it in various alternative locations Grin

Please tell me what you did! I'm dying here!! 😂

Fuzzipeg · 10/02/2017 20:40

Do you sit behind my dh? 😅he does that at home and leaves the chair in the middle of the dining room when he gets up from the table, it drives me mad!

FurryLittleTwerp · 10/02/2017 20:40

Totally fucking unacceptable - them not you.

Wind the seat up & up till it's barely attached then put it back under their desk.

Then laugh a lot when the seat falls off as they sit down.

PopsyDaisy2207 · 10/02/2017 20:41

Cavemum that teminds me of the garden gnome that was abducted and the owner received picture postcards from it.
Oh god, you could do that with the chair!

Topseyt · 10/02/2017 20:43

I love the put it in the lift idea. Grin

BizzyFizzy · 10/02/2017 20:45

Just push it under the desk if it bothers you.

redexpat · 10/02/2017 20:52

Bizzy thats not really in the spirit of the thread!

SenoritaViva · 10/02/2017 20:57

Can you replace chair with yoga ball? Then you could kick ball under desk (pref with him on it).

DJBaggySmalls · 10/02/2017 21:00

Put L plates on it.

Pigflewpast · 10/02/2017 21:01

Redex that's given me the giggles!

Bettercallsaul1 · 10/02/2017 21:01

I've reported the post.

UnimaginativeUser · 10/02/2017 21:04

Ha! This would drive me mad too. Perhaps if you see them coming back, push back your chair, crash into theirs, cue dramatic crashing / whiplash gesture with lots of tutting then giving them the evil eye... it would be so very British!

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 10/02/2017 21:06

set it on fire.
