Colleague leaves chair in the aisle - WIBU to hide it?

We sit in rows in an open plan office, every time the person behind me gets up they push their chair out and leave it in the aisle. They have been asked twice to push it under their desk when they get up but they don't.
WIBU to hide it when they're away from their desk??

Haha, definanlty hide the chair. Can't wait to hear about the chairs' adventures!

picklemepopcorn · 10/02/2017 14:29

Just change the height every time. Say nothing. Wait for colleague to twig.

Beeziekn33ze · 10/02/2017 14:30

Handslike - I love it, possibly could even be done via photoshop while the chair lurks in a cleaning cupboard!!

GoofyIsACow · 10/02/2017 19:23

How about turning it upside down... every time!

ShiftyLookingBadger · 10/02/2017 19:23

Sounds like a fire hazard to me! Love the bike lock idea, but equally shouting 'chair' like a crazy person (more so if it's personS!) sounds even better

2017SoFarSoGood · 10/02/2017 19:33

CHAAAAAAIIIIIIIIRRRRRR but don't look round. Keep typing. Every time. Won't take many. .

if you can find a way to video the look on his/her face as you are doing it that would be much appreciated Grin

HappyFlappy · 10/02/2017 19:36

Oooo a chair parking thread!!

Furniture, irritating work colleagues AND parking!

It doesn't get much better than this!

NoTractorsAtTheTable · 10/02/2017 19:38

Another here for CHAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRR

It will catch on. Others will join in.

Maryhadalittlelambstew · 10/02/2017 19:39

Just sit in it.

Thissideof40 · 10/02/2017 19:42

Yep another one who thinks you should shout CHAIR!!! I do this in my house and shout LIGHT when the OH or kids leave a room and leave the light on.

Or hide the chair and leave a ransom note!

NoTractorsAtTheTable · 10/02/2017 19:43

Actually, can you replace it with a beanbag, or, more realistically, a small cushion? Like they did in school - 'if you're not grown up to sit on a chair properly, you sit on the floor'?

PopsyDaisy2207 · 10/02/2017 19:44

What happened????

dudsville · 10/02/2017 19:46

Can you do these, please? I liKe "CHAIR" and then send it on a journey worth pics aka amelie

TalkingofMichaelAngel0 · 10/02/2017 19:50

Love the idea of shouting CHAIR!

Laughed quite literally out loud at putting it in the lift.

MadMags · 10/02/2017 19:51

Oh God. I want you to do all of these, OP!

Fishwiife · 10/02/2017 19:52

There is a practical joke I've seen on Pinterest where you rig up an air horn (one of those horns on an aerosol) to the chair, person sits down, air horn goes off....

MsVestibule · 10/02/2017 19:53

I seem to shout 'LIIIIGHT' 'DOOOOOR' 'TEEEETH' with alarming frequency, so shouting 'CHAAAIIR' doesn't even sound that unusual to me.

Perhaps it would in a work environment...

Aworldofmyown · 10/02/2017 19:53

ooooh yes "CHAAAIIIRRR" and arrange with others to do the same. Maybe you could have a signal? Like someone claps once when the chair is out.

Rainydayspending · 10/02/2017 19:56

Absolutely. I sort of thought shouting/ prompting "CHAIR" would already be happening (as this is so normal in our house for "STAIRGATE" "DOOR" and "LIGHT").
