I have definitely listened to too much More or Less.

What worries me is the impression he's trying to create in people's heads...

It seems like he is linking refugees to terrorism and they should be treated with suspicion.

And that judges are bad. And that the media ix fixed.

Also, it's not as though Syrian refugees can walk to the US. The US only takes in refugees who have undergone an intensive and lengthy vetting process.

TBF - it seems that since the 'ban' was announced and then halted, the proportion of refugees coming in from the 7 countries has increased.

That's true.

BUT

What does that mean?

How MANY refugees have come in?
Not the proportion.
Why has the proportion increased? Are refugee agencies prioritising vulnerable people from these countries over other refugees?

I'm sure I'm being thick, but how can Trump just plan to do an new Executive Order reinstating the travel ban when it's already been declared unlawful? Sure, he can reword it, but that doesn't get round the fundamental irrationality, does it?

I imagine that will be the basis of it being hauled back into court the moment they reissue one.
