TSA are hideous. We once got stuck for ages because dd had prescription liquid medication that she had to take on the flight. I've been reading all the threads. I'm utterly horrified. I never thought it could get this bad so quickly. I've had to come off Facebook for a bit after I realised that some people were "liking" memes or statuses that were pro-trump or pro "let's just all calm down and support democracy shite"

One of them is my mother in law. She liked a particularly pro trump one. Which makes me really sick as she has jewish heritage. Can she not see what's happening? My new year's resolution was to call out any racist shite (which made for an interesting NYE party where one colleague claimed she couldn't buy a house because of immigrants...) But she's a tricky MIL at the best of times.

Every morning I look at the news with increasing dread. The power that this twatty tangoed twunt has is truly terrifying.

I doubt the conversation with Aus PM was cordial although Turnbull does seem a bit of a wuss.

HOWEVER I hate the words he uses. "Extreme extreme processing" We know this means 18 months to 2 years and a probably NO at the end.

Then he says "processing them". It's just a horrible term.

And what is the bloody point of going on and on about how angry Trump was with what the previous Administration agreed to with these poor people. It's nothing to do with Turnbull. It was agreed. Why's he have to be so rude to him?

I suddenly feel depressed that we have 4 years of this psychopath in the White House. It's only been almost 2 weeks and it feels like 2 years. He's already done so much damage; what's he going to manage in 4 years?!! He's a climate change denier, amongst everything else that is terrible about him, so what's going to happen in that area. I dread to think. How to get through this? I'm having a wtf moment. I mean wtf!!
