I agree with you cozie. Trump will always have a core of supporters who will never, no matter what, change their mind. It may be because they refuse see what he is doing, maybe because they do see but it is actually what they want too, or they might just be unreasoning nuts who just like to follow a bully.

Those of us on the other side need to accept that we won't change these people's minds and not waste our energy trying. Not everyone will agree with us. When looking to convert (if that's the right word) we should focus on the waverers and naïve. Push the door half open or grab the low hanging fruit as the business consultants at my work would say

But mostly we should be focusing our energy on fighting the changes. I believe the more we shout and protest, the more we show there are people who don't agree with trump the more the waverers will drift over to us.
