If you want to get better steer clear of daytime TV get yourself some boxsets.
Flowers Hope you feel better soon.

SpongebobRoundPants · 01/02/2017 15:52

It's an opportunity for the guests to have a naaaice meal and night in a hotel. And probably get paid

Gaaaah · 01/02/2017 15:58

The man's a vulture. Disgracefully praying on weak and unfortunate people in the guise of helping them.

Katy07 · 01/02/2017 15:59

It's what's loosely described as "entertainment" - apparently. Or it may be a cunning ploy to get people back to work faster Grin

TheCustomaryMethod · 01/02/2017 16:01

It enables people who've been off sick to joke on their return that they 'got fed up of watching the Jeremy Kyle show'.

TwatteryFlowers · 01/02/2017 16:04

It makes people like me feel better about our teeth. Mine are wonky but by heck in comparison to some of his guests I have a Hollywood smile Grin

WindwardCircle · 01/02/2017 16:06

It's the modern version people touring Bedlam to point and laugh at people with mental health issues.

FlyWaxSleepRepeat · 01/02/2017 16:09

It's bear-baiting of the mentally ill and/or people with learning difficulties, dressed up as daytime tv "entertainment".

Owllady · 01/02/2017 16:09

No one had bad teeth? They were all in hospital crying whilst he leered over them
One poor woman was too embarrassed to undress in front of her husband, so they gave her a breast exam on national tv Hmm :( wtf

FlyWaxSleepRepeat · 01/02/2017 16:11

Ahhh the hospital thingy.

It's a bit like Embarrassing Bodies - I assume they get private treatment, in exchange for allowing JK to fawn over them whilst they're having their prolapsed vagina examined on television.

SherlockPotter · 01/02/2017 16:11

Entertainment? Confidence booster? Guilty pleasure?

SherlockPotter · 01/02/2017 16:13

Ohhh the emergency room? Yeah I only watched 5 minutes of it and got bored!

Owllady · 01/02/2017 16:30

I could not move. My hot water bottle was too warm
I don't understand why they aren't refered on anyway. I've had to see a gynae (2nd woman on program) and because the bag couldn't see me within a given timescale I was sent to a private hospital.....Blush duty if she had thickening of the uterine lining, she needed to have a biopsy to check is wasn't malignant especially with irregular bleeding.
They certainly said the c word to me....
Have I taken it all too seriously?

Owllady · 01/02/2017 16:31

The bag should say nhs! :o

The point of Jeremy Kyle is to demonise the working classes to the point that nobody will bat an eyelid when the Tories bring back the workhouse.

Highmaintenancefemalestuff · 01/02/2017 19:53

I'm on maternity leave and I'm ashamed to admit I watch it every day. It makes me realise how normal, easy and great my life is.

MrsJayy · 01/02/2017 19:55

Oh the medical surgery programme is weird im far to shy to go to the Drs but here have a look at THIS Shock

BonnieF · 01/02/2017 20:08

Kyle entertains middle-class students and housewives, sorry SAHMs, by providing them with opportunities to laugh at the ghastly chavs.

Mrsglitterfairy · 01/02/2017 21:38

Aww I love a bit of jezza. If I'm in work late or have a day off it's a guilty pleasure of mine. I've even been in the audience a couple of times And I slightly fancy him Blush

blueirishues · 01/02/2017 21:40

It's been on air since 2005, cao

OohhItsNotHoxton · 01/02/2017 21:43

[shock]@Mrs glitterfairy.

Justmuddlingalong · 01/02/2017 21:48

The point of all Jezza's programmes is so you say ‘fuck this shit' and finally make a start on the ironing!

Twogoats · 01/02/2017 21:52

It costs pennies to make, so will be on for a long time yet!

purplepebbles · 01/02/2017 21:54
