Unfortunately Arnie is as much of a misogynist as Trump is.

Roussette · 02/02/2017 15:59

"I hope to be here seven more times with you," he said

I'm hoping he won't last seven weeks.

OK, so I may be a bit out of the box with this, but honestly, I thought Trump was even worse than Sugar on the Apprentice. (Phew, what a confession. Glad that's off my chest.)

JamieXeed74 · 02/02/2017 16:03

The Apprentice ratings have went down because its connected with Trump, not something Arnie could do anything about.

Trump on "tough" calls with world leaders: "Don’t worry about it"
wapo.st/2jAXl2B

GingerIvy · 02/02/2017 16:06

He. Has. No. Clue.

In his prayer breakfast remarks, Trump said, “The world is under serious, serious threat in so many different ways. And I’ve never seen it so much and so openly as since I took the position as president. The world is in trouble, but we’re going to straighten it out, okay? That’s what I do. I fix things. We’re going to straighten it out."

Loving this thread. Keep up the great work everyone.

He can't possibly last the full term can he? Sooner or later he's going to do something so batshit crazy (even for him) that he's ousted.

Peregrina · 02/02/2017 16:10

Wonder when the batshit crazy Evangelicals who are behind Trump will try to ban divorce too? What would Trump do?

Even if what Putin said were true (and I doubt it, given who said it), Kiev are on a hiding to nothing hoping for sympathy or aid from Trump.

Ironic how Trump thinks the world is under serious threat, and the biggest threat is actually Trump himself.

I think this is known in psychotherapy terms as 'externalisation' (or is it projection?) - when you disown a trait of your own and see it in the world outside. Possibly someone with more knowledge than me can explain!

If I lived in America I would be very, very worried (am worried already and I'm in the UK!).

At the rest of sounding like a prepper I'd be learning to ride a motorcycle - because the first thing that happens when the shit hits the fan and people want to get out of town, is that the roads end up gridlocked. So being able to ride a MC is a practical solution to that. I'd also be learning to shoot to defend myself if needed, even though I am anti-gun.

cozietoesie · 02/02/2017 16:26

I think he has to do something/have done something since his 'repentance', blue, that the religious right can't tolerate. Something that 'won't play well in eg the Appalachians'.

BigBadgers · 02/02/2017 16:26

Here's an article from the Hill on the Pruit appointment. It seems rather pointless the democrats assuming there are any rules left to be honest. They really need to get a bit more radical

I know I've asked but no s has been able to tell me.

How the hell can someone without political experience or elected position run a country. I wouldn't go to a doctor, dentist or hairdresser on that basis.

I think the constutution missed a trick there.

I think this is known in psychotherapy terms as 'externalisation' (or is it projection?) - when you disown a trait of your own and see it in the world outside.

It's been clear throughout the campaign. He'd often accuse his adversaries of his own faults.

It's a good exercise:
Hillary is on drugs - I'm on drugs. Just watch the sniffs.
Media are liars - I'm a liar
Muslims are dangerous - I'm dangerous

It's also a good practice for any of his statements. To assume the opposite is true.
