BertrandRussell This is prob v outing, but I don't post much so never mind!

DD is Jamie (spelt Jaime) and DS is Taylor ("Oh! Like Taylor Swift?!")

sparklewater · 09/02/2017 11:42

LassWiTheDelicateAir - just saw your post.

And yes, you're right - that and the fact they were bought from the girls section, etc. I think the fact that I noticed them but decided not to give a crap shows that I recognise how ridiculous it is, doesn't it? Confused

NotLadyPrickshit · 09/02/2017 14:38

Sparkle I consider Taylor to be a boy's name as it was used for boys long before Miss Swift came along

BertrandRussell · 09/02/2017 14:44

Taylor has always been a predominantly boy's name-Ms Swift notwithstanding................

Tbf I always thought it was pretty 50-50, but the entire English-speaking world seems to disagree ;)

NotLadyPrickshit · 09/02/2017 15:22

I do know a female Tayler though Hmm

BertrandRussell · 09/02/2017 15:34

Interestingly, it was about 50:50 back in the mid 90s- but as it declined in popularity it declined faster for girls, and all through the 2000s it was mostly boys. I wonder if Tayler became a girl spelling. I'll go and check.

Tayler is a new one on me!

Treacle you wouldn't be the author of a certain popular magical children's series would you? Grin Because apparently J K Rowling's youngest is Mackenzie.
