TBF - the President was using the words of the media according to Spicer. But this is the same Spicer who came out and said it's not a ban. So if it's not a ban, why would the President say it's a ban even though his spokesman said quite clearly it's not a ban.

Just watched the press conference... loved the ban/not ban ping pong. FFS man, the president called it a ban!! How many times is that sean bloke gonna have to clear up the wrong words said by Trump? (or the right words as far as we're concerned).

Very interested on the Supreme court figures that are needed. So he has to get was it 7 (or 9 maybe) Dems to agree his choice. Spicer came across as supremely confident but given that DT has disregarded Obama's choice, and from the media it seem the Dems are rallying round a bit... I'm not sure it will be a done deal.

From what I've read (and it's just an amateur take on it...) there is a slightly better choice (Hardiman), a medium to poor choice (Gorsuch), and a horrendous choice (Pryor) are the 3 in the running. If Spicer is so convinced he will get more than enough Dem votes, I assume they are going for the medium to poor choice (whereby everyone signs in relief it wasn't the vile Pryor).

Just thinking out loud, but would a good way to get rid of Banner not be to really get the "President Banner" thing going?

As a massive narc, Trump would hate that. And even if Banner is running the show, Trump is blissfully thinking that he does. And might sack well sack him if he thought Banner was getting called President and looking like he was in charge.

I'm applying toddler logic to Trump but I imagine that's how he operates so I'm not sure it's that far fetched that "President Banner" all over the press and twitter wouldn't cause him to blow his top and feel the need to show that him and his tiny hands were really the big boy with the special things.

Just hope they destroy each other before they ..............
