It's critical that critics from all parties are involved I agree. I hope TM and BJ wake up very soon to the general feeling in the UK and beyond. It's frightening that they seem to be dismissing it as a bit of a storm in a teacup over the last few days. They appear to have completely underestimated the public reaction.

The comments on the thread about the "Muslim ban" are scary. So much racism and naivety. I suspect there are many people thinking that way.

It sounds like they are going to declare martial law and trump el presidente for life. Or alien takeover to enslave/eat the population of America. One or the other.

Obama banned Iraqis for 6 months - sane as what trump is doing but there weren't protests then.

That Muslim ban thread is horrifying - but I suppose we shouldn't be surprised. Probably most people who have ever voted for UKIP (about 10% of the electorate) would have voted for Trump if they'd been in America.

There's some interesting stuff on the net about the US military's reaction to the immigration bans and possible rapprochement with former adversaries. They're not necessarily thinking quite as some people might have anticipated.
