This is my last response to you.
I protest on as many platforms as possible, about as many issues as possible. In the last two years that has included issues from china/India/USA/Saudis/Iran/Pakistan etc. That's as much as I remember.
And I have posted here on mumsnet a lot. That includes proposals by Tories for academisation of schools, tax credits scandal, corbyn's leadership crisis and of course Brexit.
I don't know everything. I can't fight everything. But I think that the matters that are bound to affect us directly and may lead to war at some point are the ones that need utmost attention from everyone. Iraq war and the resultant chaos in the region (leading to current refugee crisis right now) is just one example.
I would love to take the "yes I condemn Trump but.." route too but I don't think it's as simple and as heartless as that. He is not an attack from outside. He is an attack on the western civilisation from inside. That's the most worrying thing here.

But this thread isn't about any other corrupt world leader, it's about Trump. I understand the point you're making, but for me the argument you're making wouldn't dissuade me from protesting against Trump.

It's like saying, 'well there are other corrupt, vile, dishonest world leaders out there, we haven't protested against them so we shouldn't protest against Trump'.

But I'm getting that you're saying it's hypocritical. I'm not sure I agree with that though.

Could Kate Cambridge just say, no, I don't want to meet him? Surely the state can't force her to.

Maybe we could all write to her asking her to consider declining any invitations to meet him. That would send a strong message.
