I suspect this is an attempt to "other" those Congressmen that are helping at the airports and are speaking out against him.
I hope this isn't the case, but in a twisted way, it would be a quick way for him (and his puppetmasters') to quickly identify the "soft" Republicans, and then somehow remove/sideline/brief against them.

On another note, I was horrified to see the most liked comments on the Have Your Say to the BBC story about the petition. So many people supporting Trump.

And now the world will step in if Congress doesn't......

Well Deblet, my father, whose field of employment was asylum & Immigration (featuring terrifying-me-with-travel-to-places-not-on-Trumps-list-because-of-his-business-interests) thinks the Muslim ban is, and I quote "absolutely bonkers".

Are you perhaps currently employed in that field - or a related one - & better placed to comment? He did take early retirement a couple of years ago so is no longer privy to the Top Secret information he once was. (When I was younger there used to be actual physical files stamped "Top Secret" in red on their covers. Presumsbly these days it's all on computer...)

Was just talking to a friend who pointed out that what happens after Trump may be even more important.

As he pointed out, Trump was in fact elected: it's not an actual coup yet.

But the person who comes next, if Trump is removed (or assassinated) could be part of the same movement or have similar agenda, but be clever rather than an obvious clown. They'd have at their disposal the tools Trump is busy putting in place, and get a brief free ride while everyone is busy being relieved they're Not Trump.

That could be the real coup.

Haha Owen Jones on ITV news just now was brilliant! Calling DT 'pussy grabbing', the presenter had to apologise for his language. He really said it how it was instead of all these mealy mouthed apologists in the MSM. I hope it ends up on YT. He's gonna get some stick for this but good on him!
