I'm sorry but the idea of announcing the supreme court nominee 'live' (on tv?) made me laugh.

On a serious note, does the supreme court have the final say on the legality of the ban?

If you want a really scary and rather out-there possibility, we were speculating that Trump might actually be assassinated by his current puppet masters or competing extremist interests (I won't specify far right, as at some point right/left ceases to be relevant).

They'd keep him in place while he was still delivering things they wanted, but when he'd strayed off-message too often and become too difficult to manage, a handy assassination apparently by a member of one of the persecuted groups would be a real two-birds-one-stone.

I sincerely hope that's in the realms of fiction.

In fairness, that one was on the Civil Service... however, it is also up to Civil Servants to try to stop that sort of thing: they sit in the House to advise Members (of both Chambers) that they are talking utter shite. I mean, when technically/legally applicable. Sadly they're not allowed to just constantly send Jeremy Hunt notes telling him what an arse he is...

That last Trump tweet is ironic considering all the "make america great again" things (shirts, hats, etc) were made in China.

24K going to London march so far - and I imagine there'll be far more than that
