I've read through all 40 pages of the first thread and all 40 of the second! Was deflated and let down but ecstatic to find this one! I even had my 6 year old overseeing me overseeing my 5 year olds reading (bad mother).

So glad OP is back, Loving there are two other neighbours, think Caroline needs finding and have a strong suspicion there is no Caroline and Nicolarse is actually renting the spaces out......

I just wonder what else has been going on on your driveway in your absence - maybe a weekly craft fair? Street food market? I wonder if ten minutes before you get home if there is a blur of screeching tyres while they all vacate your driveway, and when you get there it's completely empty. The thought of that tickles me.
