Update after 4pm!

Don't panic everyone the parking restriction will still be in place at 4pm. Where's Caroline going to move it to? Unless she just gets in and drives and drives and drives, all day, too frightened to stop in case she gets a ticket. Nicholas may join her. It'll be like Speed but without the bomb.

LagunaBubbles, how do you highlight all the OPs posts throughout a thread a different colour so you can just read them?

Works on my iPad, but not on my 8 year old MacBook. There's no touch-screen. I've tried tapping the touchpad, single-finger and double-finger clicking. Nada.

Oh gods, I'm WFH and I've just realised I'm on a call from 3.30 - 5.00 that I can't move and 4pm is my main talking slot!

I can't take the tension, 2 hours to go and I've started speculating... my theory is this:

It is not Carolines car. It is Caroline's secret lover's car and he parks on OP's drive to avoid Nicolas from finding out. Loverboy was about to move his car and leave last night, but to his horror found himself blocked in. He couldn't reveal himself to the neighbors and at that very moment Caroline's husband returned. He hid a cupboard and he's been there ever since, hence the car hasn't moved.

Car will be gone when OP returns but it will never reappear....

I'm exhausted after reading this thread which lead to the original thread which lead to the penguin thread which was parked while I read part 1 of the penguin thread.

Going to bed for a nap before all the drama kicks off at 4pm.

Also would like it known that I have a horrible chest infection so am WFH/hacking up my lungs and reading mumsnet. I might be sick but I can still multitask!

On my phone - at the top of each page there's a circle with a down arrow in it. Click on that then select "watch this thread". To bookmark I have three dots in the bottom right hand corner of each post. The bookmark is hiding in there.
