Marker moustache on DS face ! Help!

igotnotimeforthis · 08/01/2017 19:56

I need ideas on how to get a drawn (by DH no less) marker moustache off my DS face.
DS has been through some vigorous scrubbing in the bath but no luck.

I'm quite annoyed with DH but in his defence he thought these were washable markers - but no. DS has washable markers but they got mixed with the non washable ones that ge got for Christmas from GPs.
(I'll be binning them tomorrow to avoid further confusion....)

But for now - it's first day back at school tomorrow- how will I explain this?!?Confused

Please don't use bleach, not even for just a wipe over Shock

Davros · 08/01/2017 20:26

Magic eraser?

MyOtherLifeIsAFairytale · 08/01/2017 20:36

A fish slice and a policy of sex live might do the trick... Wink

If all else fails, you will have to teach your do the Go Compare song and he can style it out.

FrogFairy · 08/01/2017 20:51

DS not do

bigtapdancingpimp · 08/01/2017 20:58

Am I the only one thinking about that episode of Friends when Ross drew a moustache on Rachel's face?

IggyPopsicle · 08/01/2017 22:23

Just out of interest, what style of moustache are we dealing with? Tom Selleck, Adolf Hitler, or Salvador Dali?

RhiWrites · 08/01/2017 22:25

You need swarfega. It will work but unless you have done left over from a decorating job it will have to wait for a trip to the shops.

Lucked · 08/01/2017 22:28

Draw a line on your leg, or somewhere you can cover, with the same pen and try out the suggestions tonight so you aren't flustered in the morning.

Also it means you can report back to us sooner with the results!!

Lucked · 08/01/2017 22:29

Actually that should read your DH's leg!

WhooooAmI24601 · 08/01/2017 22:30

DH once drew angry eyebrows on the DCs at Christmas. We went to Christingle at our local church and they had to wear their hats over their faces to hide their shame.

Baby oil is good at getting stuff off, as is Head and Shoulders shampoo.

321zerobaby · 08/01/2017 22:31

As someone else said, i think its only fair your dh gets a matching moustache.
Nail varnish remover?

DireTires · 08/01/2017 22:32

a policy of sex live

😂 😂

Pradaqueen · 08/01/2017 22:33

I'd have a go with a dousing of hair spray on kitchen roll. It gets biro out of leather. I think it's the alcohol.

georgedawes · 08/01/2017 22:34

Cmon we need a photo!

CockacidalManiac · 08/01/2017 22:37

Poirot, Freddie Mercury, or Hitler?

Isitjustmeorisiteveryoneelse · 08/01/2017 22:38

bigtap nope, my first thought too. Not sure how Rachel got rid of it though, didn't it involve a transatlantic flight? Probably not feasible before school tomorrow.

user1478860582 · 08/01/2017 22:39

Draw glasses on him to complete the look?

raspberryrippleicecream · 08/01/2017 22:39

Sugar mixed with washing up liquid is good for paint.

I use toothpaste to clean whiteboards at school

JustCallMeKate · 08/01/2017 22:42

A fish slice and a pouch of sex lube might do the trick...

😂😂😂

Oh god, this reminds me of the time I drew all over dd1's face during a heated game of pictionary. It washed off fine later that evening but the next morning she came down with a hideous virus which required a trip to out of hours. By the time we saw the doctor, every single pen mark had reappeared as an angry red mark and I had to explain myself. Dd1 who would be about 8 at the time, helpfully piped up about mum being a bad loser at pictionary Blush Grin

She's 18 now and brings it up with depressing regularity.
