Driver's door blocked by a selfish twunt parked on the pavement between two legally parked cars.
Due to mobility problems I'm not agile enough to get in from the passenger side.
Looks like I'm getting the bus to work this afternoon then.

AIBU to think I should be able to get into my car?

Baby it's not a space though - it's the pavement they are parked on. My space is the end of our row in a private car park I don't have a bb as my issue is random flare ups of an old sports injury (I can walk fine, it's twisting to get in and out of the car that can be bloody sore) and I wouldn't need one in my own space.

That green p means just passed doesn't it? If so stick a note on (front and back) saying this is not a legal car park space and you've reported them to the police, council and dvla. Might not stop others but it will scare the shit out of a new driver!

I know it's the pavement but the police don't care, other drivers don't care so all you can do is get onto the council or back slightly in the pavement to allow pedestrian access but no car parking.

If you had a bb you could legally be parking over part of the pavement.

BabySnores · 16/01/2017 09:20

Obviously you don't but it sounds like it's not illegal where you are anyway.

Can you put a sticker on your door?/window, saying you need space?

A little off-topic, but I've been looking for one of these, but everything I've found for the driver's side window seems to feature a wheelchair graphic. If anyone finds one without, please let me know.

call a towing company each time someone parks there.
After paying to get their car back they might think twice before parking there again.
