Like those where the OP writes hardly anything and expects others to entertain them.

Now you go.

OP posts:
LunaLoveg00d · 28/12/2016 10:23

And fecking Aibu about Christmas threads in fecking APRIL.

PollyPerky · 28/12/2016 10:23

Oh and the ones that have a 'teaser' subject line so you feel compelled to open the thread, only to find it's something really trivial but you got sucked in.

MrsJayy · 28/12/2016 10:23

The ones that go on about the good ole days when you could be scathing and get away with it meh so you mean you dont like getting pulled up on nastiness rightyo

The ones whining about presents - either no present or the wrong present! Are you 5 years old? No? Well then get a fucking grip!

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 28/12/2016 10:26

itsmine Oh yes - you can imagine hundreds of the regulars reading it and sulking if they aren't mentioned Grin

Chippednailvarnishing · 28/12/2016 10:26

Poster who has a child with a man who also has 87 other DC's with 85 women.

"They're all unreasonable bitches and he's a great Dad".
Of course he is...

NoelHeadbands · 28/12/2016 10:26

The ones that are along the lines of 'I don't understand why some people do XXXX differently to what I do'

Well we can't help you then, because that's just general stupidity.

Bauble16 · 28/12/2016 10:26

You know this will eventually turn into a feminist or trans debate a billion pages long don't u! Yep those threads annoy me. Well some have good valid points, it's the ones were if you don't agree they get all evangelistic. I've been disrespected and disregarded far more on them boards then by men in society! Hardly helping the cause putting other women down and making assumptions that said women are stupid.

Oh and I've seen a few posts on the sex boards from women describing their partners anus as delicious. Delicious is just too far insert barf face.

cherrycrumblecustard · 28/12/2016 10:27

School ones.

It's only rare there's some middle ground between a teacher and a child maybe not being on top form and sensible discussion.

It's either "YABU to even think about questioning Mrs Jones telling Percy to fuck off. Teaching is a very hard job and they are all leaving in droves. Percy sounds like a badly behaved cheeky brat and if you don't back the teacher up he will end up in jail."

Or "YANBU OP. In fact I would go a step further and involve the governors and demand the teacher be dismissed for gross misconduct on the spot. If she can't be bothered to mark Percy's homework she should not be teaching."

Zoflorabore · 28/12/2016 10:27

I hate the LTB comments on tons of threads, sometimes it's not constructive at all.

Also the ones where the other posters choose a babies name by way of elimination.

How about the ones where the op states a situation and within seconds the scenario pops up about how the thread would be different if it was a male posting or vice versa.

The worst though- the ones that are known here as "goady" which are intended to cause offence and outrage.

I love MN and use it every day, it's helped me in so many ways and is my little treat, nobody knows me, I can be honest and try and help others where applicable but it baffles me that there are people out there who have got such sad lives that they come on here and cause upset for their own kicks.

Champagneformyrealfriends · 28/12/2016 10:28

Bauble I just laughed so loud DD looked worried Grin

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 28/12/2016 10:28

An anus is delicious?Hmm.

Not entirely sure I agree with that sentiment.

Hi mummies; bubba; hubby

Any threads with any of those words in about anything.

Yamadori · 28/12/2016 10:31

Any thread with the term 'cis' in it.

Topseyt · 28/12/2016 10:31

I have come to hate the threads about apparently awful birthday and Christmas presents, though I read them out of interest.

It is very subjective and one person's awful is often another person's great.

Also, I am another who dislikes the ones pwhere the OP has simply put a statement in the title and said "discuss", as though they are a teacher or uni lecturer setting the class an essay question. No, you are not. It is patronising and condescending.

GhostOfChristmasYetToCome · 28/12/2016 10:32

zoflora I do read some threads sometimes and think that the responses would be very different if the opposite gender had posted them. They tend to be on the "I feel unloved by my wife" and on the "I cheated on my husband" type threads.

RichardBucket · 28/12/2016 10:32
  • AIBU threads that aren't asking AIBU at all, just "posted for traffic" (whether or not they say that). Including ones like 'AIBU to share this recipe with you?' Yes, yes you are.
  • Any threads about trans people.
  • Threads where one poster oh-so-cleverly implies it's a troll, cuing four pages of troll hunting because nobody else wants to look stupid. Tedius.
  • Threads moaning about partners having to give maintenance to support their children. Because it'd be much better if our partners didn't give a shit about their kids, wouldn't it?
  • Most of the AIBUs written by the kids/dog/whatever and especially the ones written by movie characters.

I can't decide if food threads should be on the list or not. The 'my kids only eat organic vegetables hand picked by virgin nuns' posters are incredibly irritating (and lying) but it's also entertaining.

Olympiathequeen · 28/12/2016 10:33

The long (very) convoluted family problem ones.

I've lost the will to live before I get to the end.

liz70 · 28/12/2016 10:35

Everybody posting a gripe here has almost certainly started a thread on MN that pissed somebody else off. Including myself.

Olympiathequeen · 28/12/2016 10:35

Not forgetting the drip feeders.

They get ripped to pieces initially but drip and are your best friend by the end.

pictish · 28/12/2016 10:36

Liz totally. But I think we all know that.

Sparklingbrook · 28/12/2016 10:37

The trouble with the 'user12345678' names is they all look the same. I do tend to scroll past them on a thread.
Is it really so difficult to namechange to a normal one?

lilyb84 · 28/12/2016 10:37

Liz I'd be ashamed if I hadn't Grin.
