Like those where the OP writes hardly anything and expects others to entertain them.

Now you go.

OP posts:

Cancel the cheque

ilovesooty · 31/12/2016 03:39

The "If you do not have children why are you even here?"

After the unhinged ranting on the subject the other day I was heartened to see that the poster was in a minority and MNHQ dealt with it quickly.

TrillKitten · 31/12/2016 03:44

OP: AIBU...

EVERYONE ELSE:

  • Yup.
  • YABUvvvU
  • Gosh, YES, why that's completely unreasonable fo you!
  • Yeah, I really think you are overreacting. Sorry.
  • Hi OP, YABU
  • YA totally BU !!

OP: Yeah, but really?

PLEASE stop asking AIBU if you are just looking for people to lie to you and tell you you're not! Hmm Wine

DodoRevival · 31/12/2016 05:53

BillSykesDog no, she isn't. Nor is the Queen. As far as I can tell all royalty are still alive.

People are simply waiting for the 8am announcement that was rumoured to be happening yesterday (but didn't), Twitter decided the Queen was dead. Then someone (mistakenly?) referred to the quuen as Kate Middleton's MIL being dead.

At this point I've lost all sight of whose being sarcastic!! (Which means i don't know if you were messing asking) so if you weren't serious asking I apologise.

scaredoffallout · 31/12/2016 07:40

The ones where the OP finishes their post with Love Debbie (or whatever name) xx.

The whole 'on glue' thing was never funny - the original Gluezilla thread was great, but I still don't quite get why people rolled about in hysterics over 'are you on glue?'.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 31/12/2016 13:56

Actually Camilla is Kate's stepmother-in-law.

SomethingLikeFlying · 31/12/2016 14:01

When people harp on about there being "two sides to the story" and therefore don't believe the op. Usually said they are in disagreement with the op so choose not to believe them instead.

redshoeblueshoe · 31/12/2016 14:03

Anyway - there was a big announcement from the Palace yesterday

'My neighbour has parked on my driveway then taken a shit in my plant pot. I am terrified of confrontation, please help me!'

What do you expect us to do? Grow a pair on your behalf?

Yes to the drip feed of 'well actually, I suffer from anxiety and depression' when inevitably, posters ask the OP why she can't just ask her DH not to cut the carrots in batons instead of raging or fuming about it.

Competitive non-spending. There was a thread recently about spending £100 per month on clothes or something and the responses were unbelievable.

'If you spend 100 on clothes you are being ripped off' (huh?)
'Disgusting, what about starving Syrian children'
'I spend 2.50 a month'
'Well, I only spend 2.50 a year'
'I spend 50p every 17 years in oxfam'
'I never buy clothes!'
'It's alright for SOME. I only have a sheet of newspaper and a bin bag to wear'

FFS.

derxa · 31/12/2016 14:49

The competitive non-drinkers e.g.
OP Anyone drunk too much over Christmas?
4/5 posters: Far too much
next 5/6 posters I drink a thimbleful of sherry every 3 years and DH is a total abstainer.

Soubriquet · 31/12/2016 14:55

Or Pidgey I hope that £100 buys decent clothing and nothing that comes from a sweat shop I.e Primark.

I know you can only buy about 3 items but if it means you aren't funding child labour that's good isn't it

Bitofacow · 31/12/2016 14:58

I can't buy a handbag for less than £1000. The bag has to be made from the skins of puppies that were bludgeoed to death by orphans in a sweat shop.
Orphans who smoke.

(Pst the main news channels haven't heard about Camilla yet, should I announce on FB?)

Lweji · 31/12/2016 15:03

(Pst the main news channels haven't heard about Camilla yet, should I announce on FB?)

Start a thread. The DM will pick it up.

It would be fun to see how far it would go.

Bitofacow · 31/12/2016 15:06

Lweji I am sooooooooo tempted.

PidgeyfinderGeneral · 31/12/2016 15:10

Soubriquet never fear, presumably it's organic hessian dungarees woven by armless Eithiopian war veterans.

You must be a really boring person if you can't have fun without a drink derxa Wink

The ones where people insist that expecting wedding guests to follow the convention of giving a present is exactly the same as charging entrance.

limitedperiodonly · 31/12/2016 17:19

People who say 'no wonder the NHS is in crisis' because someone went to A&E with a valid concern.

That's right. All the problems of the NHS could be solved if people just put a plaster on it and phoned their GP at 8am Monday sharp.

pictish · 31/12/2016 17:26

Any thread that contains any post that has the lemon face on over parents having a social life at night time outside of the family home.

"I just don't see the need for any parents to out drinking till 3am. That's the sort of thing you do before you have children."

Fuck off.

derxa · 31/12/2016 17:28

Grin That's the trouble. I'm extremely boring.

Chippednailvarnishing · 31/12/2016 17:30

People who moan that they only have hundreds of thousands of pounds to spend on property...

GimmeeMoore · 31/12/2016 17:59

Braggy what shall we do with all our choices - Which fee paying school, which desirable area to buy in

limitedperiodonly · 31/12/2016 19:05

So am I derxa, which is why I know you know lots of things about sheep and what's what about farm machinery trade fairs. I'm not a stalker but I read stuff and think: 'Oh, that's interesting' Grin

derxa · 31/12/2016 19:14

I'm driving back to the old farm tomorrow limited. Back to Cold Comfort Farm Grin
