It's probably not a bad service for someone that has dexterity issues.

I don't have a problem with it. Presumably only people that need the service and are happy with the price will use it.

ChocoChou · 11/12/2016 12:57

Wowwwwww people have some front! Xmas GrinXmas Grin
Could you imagine paying for gift wrapping and it looking like that anyway?!?! Cheeky Mare

ThatsWotSheSaid · 11/12/2016 12:57

It's not even nicely wrapped. If it was immaculately wrapped with expensive paper and ribbons etc but it looks just like it would if I did it myself.

Fluffyears · 11/12/2016 12:58

awful wrapping too, at least provide something better than I could do myself (I actually do it better) if you are charging me!

PaperdollCartoon · 11/12/2016 12:58

Clearly I'm missing a trick here, I'm a brilliant wrapper, always lovely paper and ribbons etc... could I be charging people to do this for them?! Shock

SleepFreeZone · 11/12/2016 12:59

Oh yes. Drop your expensive present off at a strangers house and hope they are still there when you arrive to collect them. I can't see a flaw in this service at all 🤔

BewtySkoolDropowt · 11/12/2016 12:59

Just checked, Amazon charge £2.99 to gift wrap a ds game.

IHaveBrilloHair · 11/12/2016 13:01

No problem with the service, I'd consider using it but not at that price.

Bejazzled · 11/12/2016 13:01

Bit of a username clash 🙁

VeryBitchyRestingFace · 11/12/2016 13:02

I think the price is a rip off, as is the outcome.

But the concept is fantastic. I have dexterity issues on one side and my wrapping "skills" are fucking shite.

I would pay someone to do this for me. Xmas Grin

GriefLeavesItsMark · 11/12/2016 13:02

It would be a good price if it didn't look like it had been done by a toddler with poundland wrapping paper. And they are not even providing a collect and return service.

Champagneformyrealfriends · 11/12/2016 13:02

I'm an exceptional gift wrapped (12 years in retail) and have often thought this would be a good service to provide however she is charging way way too much for basic paper, no ribbon etc.

Champagneformyrealfriends · 11/12/2016 13:04

That's the sort of thing I'd expect from a gift wrapping service.

NotLadyPrickshit · 11/12/2016 13:06

The tags don't even match the paper!!!

My 15yo wrapped these which in my opinion are much better!

Cagliostro · 11/12/2016 13:06

I do really fancy wrapping when I can bothered. But this? Hmm

MadisonMontgomery · 11/12/2016 13:07

I would definitely pay to have my presents wrapped, but I'd want them not to look like a shower of shite.

LockedOutOfMN · 11/12/2016 13:15

I hate wrapping and am cackhanded so unless the gift is a really easy shape like a book I bung it in a gift bag which are super cheap from places like Tiger. I wouldn't pay a pound to have a small gift wrapped unless it came out looking beautiful (like Champagne's picture) and was just a one-off - couldn't afford to have all of my Christmas presents wrapped at that price!

Wonder if this person gets much custom??

ClashCityRocker · 11/12/2016 13:21

I wouldn't want to take loads of presents to a strangers house - hope she has insurance to cover this. I'm sure she's honest, but can she guarantee every person who is visiting the house is? Plus it's easy to get stuff mixed up and you wouldn't know until Christmas Day. She's also advertised that she will have potentially lots of gifts hanging around her house on Facebook...

But yes, if I was paying for things to be wrapped, I'd expect them to be nicely wrapped in decent wrapping paper.

Basicbrown · 11/12/2016 13:26

I think yabu it's just enterprise at its best.

CockacidalManiac · 11/12/2016 13:30

This is a new low

CockacidalManiac · 11/12/2016 13:30

Sorry, meant to enclose this

KungFuPandaWorksOut16 · 11/12/2016 13:32

A few years ago there was a warning out not too use services like this, because they'd drop the presents off and never see them again.

Basicbrown · 11/12/2016 13:33

ShockShockShock

That certainly puts the overpriced wrapping of Christmas presents into perspective maniac

Musicinthe00ssucks · 11/12/2016 13:35

For that price I'd expect the gift wrapping service provided by Rowan Atkinson in Love Actually - including pot pourri
