Baby Changing bags

Hi guy's, I'm 31 and I am struggling to find a baby bag that looks good and one bae can wear too, one that looks like a fashion bag (I had to make do with baby no1). Does anyone else fell like they're making do with their baby bag and just bought the best out of a bad looking bunch?

Bae!? Confused

I had a skip hop one. Looked good but the flap never stayed shut. Get one with a zip.

Once ds was over 1 we got one of these for the buggy. Handy for a water bottle, couple of nappies and wipes and some snacks.

I think I'd prefer Bb because I can keep everything in one place, I just don't want it to look hideous with my clothes. We both put the effort in to looking good, why should we have a pos looking bag.

I'm sure BAE is/was an acronym for British Aerospace Engineering - maybe the OP makes weapons of mass destruction?

www.amazon.co.uk/Koto-Leatherette-Baby-Changing-Brown/dp/B00A2DS5VQ DH got this for me after Dc2 was born 5.5 years ago. It's still going strong ( now have 4 dc) & has the advantage it just looks like a large bag (it was never as shiny as the picture looks). You can't get it anymore but I saw a black version & a cream version in my local boots recently. They're about £50 (or they were) & given I've used it pretty much daily it's lasted well.

bilknapplapp · 05/12/2016 17:57

Ikea sandwich bags OP. They will keep all the different bits you need separate and sealed inside whatever bag you like. That way you can have a bag in a style you like and still carry around the things you need for the baby.

MrsHathaway · 05/12/2016 17:57

It doesn't have to look like a piece of shit if you buy a bag you like the look of and then put baby stuff in it.

There's a basic minimum you always carry with very small babies (say 0-6m) consisting of spare clothes, nappies, wipes, cloth, then dummies and/or bottles if using. Apart from the bottles, that barely takes up more space than your own purse/keys/tissues/mobile etc.

Having a comfortable strap (you'll rarely have a spare hand) is more important than a coordinated changing mat. Often there's nowhere to put the damn mat anyway and you're changing the baby on your lap - a skill I'd recommend learning ASAP.

I just bought a large handbag that had loads of pockets and compartments (one for my stiff, one for babies). Long and short strap, zippered.

Wanted to use it for a normal handbag too so I picked a blue leather one.

OMG! I'm reading these posts & cant believe how unnecessarily mean people can be. Fair enough to those that don't know what bea mean but I asked a question so maybe just stick to the topic. Thanks to everyone else who had a useful suggestion it's very much appreciated. 😘

I have a white quilted Ralph Lauren changing bag which I love! My friend had it shipped from Maceys as a gift. It's fab! Will try and find a pic.

I have a Lin & Leo bag, on its sixth year now. There's a gorgeous turquoise one for 50% off at the moment.
