Clodagh Hawe and her three lovely sons were killed by her husband in a murder suicide back in August.

This awful man killed his wife and children in the most horrendous way, because of his own "fall from grace"

Not only that, but he has been buried next to them. so now when Clodagh's family visit the grave, they will be right next to that of the man who murdered their family members

Shocked that that was allowed to happen to be honest

Definitely, Flappys. It's so sad and so horrific. That poor woman and those poor children. You're right, he was a narcissist. He gave no thought to their lives, only insofar as they affected his own. He evidently just saw them as extensions of himself, rather than human beings in their own right. Therefore, when he died, they had to as well.

Stress and depression do not cause a violent outburst like that. He was described as charming whereas she was described as shy and quiet. I bet nobody would have believed her even if she had complained about domestic abuse during her lifetime. He evidently planned the murders. He could have done it in a more humane way if he wanted to. Instead, he chose the most brutal and violent manner to kill them, where they must have been fighting and pleading for their lives and scared beyond belief. But, but, he was good at sport and helped his neighbours out sometimes, so he can't have been a bad man. Sickening.

It's horrifying the whole thing.
But so many stories just like it have happened here before :'(
I remember as a teenager (turn of the century) I read a story in the local newspaper with a huge headline "He was a lovely man".
It was about a man who'd driven his car off a pier - with his young sons in the back .. "a lovely man "
:'(

While I am not directing this towards this man, but I do think some may have had psychosis.
