Aibu to be kicking myself - I just gave the babysitter £15 in £5 notes and she inspected them and jumped up and down as she had an AA13___

Apparently worth loads. Grrr.

I had an AA17. I didn't think that would be valuable, so I spent it on hot chocolate. Wasn't it only the AA01's that were valuable?

Huh? They've relisted it or one like it. But when the price is green it means it's sold. If unsold, it stays red.

Worth exactly what it is.

If someone came into a shop and ask to pay for the £300 shop with a fiver because it was 'worth' X amount on ebay, they'd be laughed out of the shop.

Have to agree to disagree. I did a search for sold items only, and if you check the relishing, it's a different serial no. ie. a different note.

Admittedly, most of them are going for peanuts.

I had a woman check her fiver before giving it to me at work yesterday, she said some of them 'are worth money.' Yeah, they're worth a fiver. Newsflash, money is worth money. (I was feeling sarcastic yesterday, the young lad I work with thinks I'm mad. Note, I didn't actually say this to this woman, just like I never tell people who complain they have cold hands to go and buy some gloves.)
