AIBU to serve up a cake that has contact glitter on it instead of edible?

I have made a birthday cake for my DD but on reading the glitter pot that I thought was edible glitter it says it's "food contact glitter for removable cake decorations"!!
I bought it in a bit of a rush and because it was with all the food colours I just assumed it was edible. Now I've read the pot afterwards and not sure if I should serve it up. It took so long to make and looks really pretty! The website says its non-toxic so what harm could it do? Glittery poo?!

The sun? Good Lord! So many posts turning into err 'news' at the moment. Assume they'll get bored of using the same old, tired sources eventually and go somewhere else.

Cake is beautiful :) if you want to keep it as the main cake for eating could you pipe more of those lovely roses in a stiffer buttercream onto greaseproof paper and then as you scrape of the glittery stuff you can plonk a flower on top?

Oops!

"The same old, tired sources"

I meant it's dull to use mumsnet as the go to for quickie news stories, not that we mums-netters are old and tired!!!

Although this morning I feel rather well worn...
