It's not even lunchtime but so far...

The car window has been open all night so now soaked.

I dropped an egg and managed to cover not just the floor but an entire stack of clean dry towels I hadn't put away.

Next doors cat has just shat on my wall because the ground is frozen.

I'm going back to bed, I'm skipping today.

Apart from the unmentionable what's spoiled your mood today?

Yesterday I missed going back to ballet after being off ill for almost a week because I somehow managed to forget my ballet bag. And then today after staying up all night to watch something we're not talking about here I woke up too late to go & tomorrow I can't because of the timing of my hospital appointment.

I'm trying to sort out a Brownie outing for Sunday & frankly am tempted to just give up on it. I also need to wash & dry & iron the Unit neckerchiefs & frankly don't have the use of my hands/arms for the latter.

I had a really bad hip dislocation last night & walking is still painful today. Am stuck between the need to collect my immediate release oxycodone from the chemist & the fact I can barely move round the house. I think I'm going to have to hope that my modified release will cover me until tomorrow.

Am still trying to get my head round the fact the doctor who gave me the results of my spinal MRI in 2014 decided not to tell me about the prolapsed discs. Stenosis yes (with a cheerful "that might paralyse you, don't worry if you wake up unable to use your legs, it'll just be the stenosis has worsened") but not the prolapsed or any of the other damage. Just... what?

I think I might need to inject myself (possible migraine) but my hands do not want to play.

Might just snuggle back up with my House Liger (who is currently cuddled up beside me snurring happily) & retreat into Fort Duvet. Although I need to eat something, with the bit where I'm in trouble over my weight again 🙄

My so far 3 week old cough is still going strong.
Ds is whiney today, has cried all the way home from nursery and is currently flaked out on the sofa.
I want to go to bed but dd and dh will be home soon expecting dinner, plus I have washing to put away and work to do. Can't be bothered today.

gemdrop84 · 09/11/2016 15:55

Oh and to add we have no milk (therefore no tea for me) no bread and I have no money. Dh kindly txt to say he's left cash in a tin on top of the tall kitchen cupboard....which I can't ruddy reach! Is it too early for wine?!!

scaryteacher · 09/11/2016 15:57

The vet says one of my cats has a heart murmur (which is odd as she saw him in July and October and didn't pick it up then); the constant pain under my right rib cage is getting more pronounced and I'll have to mention it when I go to hospital for bloods tomorrow; and it's cold and wet here in Belgium. Meh...want to go and curl up in bed toil dh gets home on friday.

On the bright side, I stopped at the Kip an t spit wagon (Poulet roti) and got a ready cooked chicken, french beans with lardons and potatoes for dinner. Will make gravy myself as Belgians don't understand that it has to be thick and bisto for comfort.

Waiting for DM's doctor's appointment, when she'll probably be told that she has Parkinson's.

Tomorrow she'll probably have to have her dog PTS, she'll be heartbroken.

2016 can just fuck off.

NatalieRushman · 09/11/2016 15:59

I just had two slices of chocolate cake and now I feel sick. Serves me right for being such a greedy bastard Sad

grannytomine · 09/11/2016 16:21

Elderly relative with dementia phoned three times before 11 am, crying, being abusive, being pathetic but most of all being stubborn so can't do anything to help. Worst thing was I was in bed asleep trying to get over a migraine when she first rang so a sleepy me with sore head got it full blast while just wanting to lie down and either die or cry, can't quite make my mind up.

legotits · 09/11/2016 18:02

Moving into the Evening......

Feet have swollen up Hmm

1 bucket of coal left so either I resort to the central heating never or I now have to ring the coal man tomorrow.

Coal man is forrin (Barnsley) and only speaks coal.

The bloody NHS has annoyed me today.

They phoned to cancel my mum's appointment 2 hours before she was due to attend due to 'bad weather' and they'd also cancelled the hospital transport.

The problem was the earlier snow had completely disappeared and the sun was shining. Plus they hadn't told my mum she'd been assigned transport in the first place so i've had a 60 mile journey for nothing!

They wouldn't even reinstate the appointment when i said i was sat there ready to take her to the hospital.

peaceloveandbiscuits · 09/11/2016 18:26

Let's see...
The porridge DS demanded for breakfast oozed all over the microwave.
The weather forecast changed dramatically - I had planned to stay in all day since it was raining, but at 10:30 the sun was shining and we could have gone out after all (too late by that point).
The 2-3 portions of homemade baked beans I made last night and took out of the fridge for our lunch tipped all over the kitchen floor and down the units, all over me and the (thankfully dirty) washing. The few I managed to save were rejected by DS.
DS' dirty nappy caused me to vomit everything I'd eaten during the morning, possibly including my medication that I'm not sure I should take again.
We've finished the apples and they were so delicious Sad

So Trump is just one item on a long list of woes today.

peaceloveandbiscuits · 09/11/2016 18:32

And I was sad that the tram accident was third or fourth down the list of news items on the BBC app. People died!

BursarsFrogs · 09/11/2016 18:34

I think I'm getting a cold.

I forgot to take a clean shirt to the gym, so had to wear the sweaty one afterwards.

I'm cooking a healthy no-stodge soup, and really would rather have a pizza.

Life is hard.

JCo24 · 09/11/2016 18:36

Put my car in for an MOT... £200 later 😒

Augustbaby22 · 09/11/2016 18:37

Found out today I didn't get the job I was really hoping for would of been perfect, great money and would of worked well with childcare for dd Sad

Hellmouth · 09/11/2016 18:38

I had a thread about this.

Lettings agent called up to say that the property we are due to move into in 3 days is now going to someone else :(

(Sorry, tmi) I'm on my period and I swear it's been going on for over a week.

We ran out of chocolate lol

Zaphodsotherhead · 09/11/2016 18:46

It snowed. I live in a house that I can't afford to heat (apart from an open fire which does nothing in a huge, barnlike space and I've run out of coal anyway). Six months of freezing to look forward to.

if anyone wants me, I'll be in the microwave...

lolalament · 09/11/2016 19:22

I spilt my wine on my coat:-(

user1472419718 · 09/11/2016 20:49

The bus terminated halfway through my bus route, almost 4 miles away from home.

pugsake · 09/11/2016 20:58

My leg is fucked.

I had knee surgery 15 years ago and it still smarts in the winter. Codeines not touching it. Can't take anything stronger as I need to be able to drive and ttc.

Plus I'm doing dry November so can't even numb the pain that way.

justwanttoweeinpeace · 09/11/2016 21:05

Friends husband has terminal cancer.

All the other stuff kind of pales in comparison.

TheDevilMadeMeDoIt · 09/11/2016 21:13

legotits I've had a roughish day, but seeing the thread title tickled me. I thought I was the only one to use 'knocked my duck off' - no surprise to see you're in S. Yorks.

Made me smile.

dementedma · 09/11/2016 21:13

Smoke alarm needs new battery and won't stop peeping.
Ds off school sick
Forgot to collect my prescription
Have to get up at stupid o clock tomorrow to go to a business breakfast!

justwanttoweeinpeace · 09/11/2016 21:15

My stuff I mean, not pps. Blush

Bummymummy77 · 10/11/2016 00:06

My dm being extremely hurtful to me this morning.

Finding out an old friend with young children only has a few weeks to live.

Dh accidentally locking me in the sauna and being stuck in there for an hour and a half trying to kick the for in. Was a sobbing, hysterical mess when he found me.

Having a sinus infection.

Forgetting to put a nappy on ds when he napped (in my bed for a treat) and it being pissed all over.

I just wish today would end.

Bummymummy77 · 10/11/2016 00:19

Where did it snow?!
