It's not even lunchtime but so far...

The car window has been open all night so now soaked.

I dropped an egg and managed to cover not just the floor but an entire stack of clean dry towels I hadn't put away.

Next doors cat has just shat on my wall because the ground is frozen.

I'm going back to bed, I'm skipping today.

Apart from the unmentionable what's spoiled your mood today?

It's two years today since my sister died.

Also struggling through the school run in the snow with a new baby.

I took DS to doctor today, expecting to be told I was fussing. However, he may have a serious neurological condition. MY heart is breaking, and we have a week and a half to wait until the next doctor's appointment.

SoupDragon · 09/11/2016 13:30

The tram accident shook me a bit this morning as DH gets the tram through Croydon every morning but about an hour or two later.

Yes, DSs get that tram only 2 hours later. Sobering thought.

throughgrittedteeth · 09/11/2016 13:36

skilled I used to have a couple of pairs of pants which would give me wedgies all day, one day I had had enough of being permanently uncomfortable so I cut them off! I'm not suggesting you throw the sock out but maybe just threaten it??

User1234567891011 · 09/11/2016 13:38

Made a cup of tea and forgot about it. Why do I do this to myself?!

Nocabbageinmyeye · 09/11/2016 13:39

Yesterday I discovered Orange chocolate directives 🎉

Today I opened them and they are so disappointing 😢

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 09/11/2016 13:40

Digestives?

rightknockered · 09/11/2016 13:44

Youngest ds is sick off school so I'm stuck at home.
Tried to get ahead of the day by cooking part of dinner early, burnt that.
Kettle just decided to stop working, so now have to boil water in a pan.

AnnPerkins · 09/11/2016 13:45

No network or broadband working where I live today. So NO MN to read over breakfast Hmm. Also had to resort to shouting at Radio 4 about today's godawful news, but we're not talking about that.

That tram derailment is just dreadful though Sad.

OhThatThingAgain · 09/11/2016 13:47

I forgot to go to my child's first parents evening last night. Shame at the school gate this morning. Should I write a letter of apology?

I felt sick when I realised. I'm crap me.

EverythingEverywhere1234 · 09/11/2016 13:48

My manager is off today, and tomorrow and Friday. She didn't mention it prior to this and has left a shit tonne of work to do in her absence. None of which has any guidance or notes in order to complete it.
My assistant manager is also off. We didn't know about that either.
My colleague has gone out for the day. So the team has gone from 6 to 2. Yay.

OhThatThingAgain · 09/11/2016 13:48

First world problem of course. Nothing compared to some Sad

Nocabbageinmyeye · 09/11/2016 13:53

Tomorrowillbeachicken yup digestives, the disappointment took away my ability to proof read 😉

MargotMoon · 09/11/2016 13:56

Got tonsillitis.
Floor fitter and building arguing over whose responsibility it is to sort out the bit of flooring that had to be ripped up.
Don't care, just want massive gap between floor and door to be sorted out and for all tradesmen to GTFO of my house.

CupofTeaTime · 09/11/2016 14:02

Thinking I was staying in hospital for one night and being told it's two now Angry

PuppetInParadize · 09/11/2016 14:03

Baltic (as in v cold) weather
an annoying knitting mistake
A pain in left breast that feels like shingles (but I'm sure is not)
Took too much Lactulose yesterday and have stomach cramps ( for 1st time in my 5 decades I need help due to a medication that causes dreadful constipation). I am furious. Wink
Trying to find 'decent' clothes as supposed to be going out tonight. decent = warm and smartly casual.
Is that enough?Grin

stephanielittl7 · 09/11/2016 14:36

Bloody boiler packed up a few days ago again so today engineer came to fix it. He also got the radiator in living room working too. Unfortunatley they now both dont work and am bloody freezing.

Am so skint i have £4 to last me til monday

Had to go to doctors this morning to have blood tests to find the cause of my dizzy spells. Am hoping its nothing serious.

And to top it all my son wet the bed last night totally missing his bed pad and now i have a mattress to dry.

ladyballs · 09/11/2016 14:37

The cat puked outside my bedroom door this morning and pooed in the front room. My heating is still not working and won't for a few days.

And I'm off sick. I hate my job but can't justify not going in tomorrow.

PotteringAlong · 09/11/2016 14:38

DS sent home from school
Power cut for 3 hours

HolyCrow · 09/11/2016 14:40

DD2 has fallen in the school yard and broken half her front tooth off 😩😩😩 no dentists open today so waiting game to see what will happen tomorrow. She's more concerned about what other people will think about her looks. She is 8 😞

Greengoddess12 · 09/11/2016 14:42

Kitty Flowers let us know how your dd goes on won't you? Xx

Clandestino · 09/11/2016 14:44

My cat has a sore eye and needs his eye ointment three times a day. I got almost killed this morning. If he were a puma, I'm toast.
Looking at four more days of this. He wasn't talking to me afterwards.

foxessocks · 09/11/2016 14:48

Lost my car in a multi storey car park and baby puked on me and then pooed out of his nappy through all his clothes.

AuntJane · 09/11/2016 14:48

Just learned that the father of a close friend was on the tram immediately before the one that got derailed. Sobering thought.

kierenthecommunity · 09/11/2016 14:50

Getting home from work at four thirty and realising not one of the three remaining functioning adults in the houses that our drive shares (my husband, my two neighbours) had put the wheeley bins out, so doing it myself in the dark and the snow.

What am I, some sort of neighbourhood bin bitch?

Who would remember to do it if I dropped dead or something? Or would they all be killed under an avalanche of garbage?

(And yes, poss a bit exaggerating and BU there but I was PISSED)
