AIBU to wince at a lot of baby wearing

Baby wearing seems to have got a lot more popular in the last few years which is obviously potentially a good thing but people don't seem to know the TICKS guidelines. I frequently see children half way down their parents torsos and not properly supported. There was a kid the other day whose feet were wandering around his fathers groin. I always feel like I should say something because potential danger but that I can't. Anyone else have this?

Keep calm and carry them is a great carrying resource. She's a lovely lady that does videos on every type of carry you can imagine.

From absolute beginner to complicated double kid stuff.

my dd swings low but thats often because she sees being in the sling as a perfect opportunity to wrangle a boob out. I personally think the TICKS thing can be relaxed when carrying toddlers.

vichill I remember the first time I mastered feeding in the sling. I felt like I could conquer the world!

When carrying a toddler ticks doesn't count.

Ds is almost three and when he's carried (by me, dh just bought a posh new hiking backpack for him) it's because he want to nurse.

So I rig him up like some crazy thing from Mad Max and stagger around under his weight while trying to stop him shouting "yay boobs" at every passer by. Grin

Not strictly after about 6 months but certainly for little ones.

However that's one of the reasons carrying them on the front becomes impractical after a while, because you can't see over their head. You wouldn't carry a toddler on your front but on your back.

Thanks for answering! I was just curious as I have absolutely no intention to start carrying him again. If nothing else, he's far too feral at this point Wink.

I use a wrap sling sometimes mainly because on the days I use it my body hurts so much I can't get the pram out of the car boot, it's bugger all to do with being fanatical about anything.

I had a lesson with a lady at the time of purchase as I'm a clusterfuck with certain things. It petrified me before I was comfortable with the thing. But I still use my arms round the baby because it's nice and I like to.

I was at a farm the other day and next to the pigs a chap with a baby in the same sling (far to low down and lose and face looked scary dangerious) I just said "can I show you how to make that much safer and more comfortable" I said it kindly he took it kindly and let me show him, no problems.

If you do things kindly amd not in a im better than you way and only when it's something actually dangerious (and not a subjective thing) stuff like a face being covered or a car seat incorrectly fitted people usually are pleased if you help rather than pissed off.

While going through the internet i found an article www.newmomstuff.com/the-best-baby-carrier-for-petite-moms-the-only-guide-you-need for choosing a baby bottle for acid reflux but the comparison chart section in the article made me confused... i am confused among Comotomo Baby Bottle and Dr. Brown’s Original Wide-Neck Bottle Newborn Feeding Set...WHICH ONE SHOULD I PICK?? has any one has any personal experience about these two??
