To have a wry smile as "karma" bites DH on the arse?

DH has been in a foul mood since he got out of bed. He has sneezed once a cold. The house is cold as the boiler has broken, so he's been huffing and puffing since 7.30.

This morning he used up the last of the loo roll in the bathroom and (not unreasonably) wanted to get dressed before he replaced it. DDog started fussing at him, she got told to bog off. In the meantime DS goes to the loo. DH rants and raves at him about not looking before he used the loo.

Turns out DDog is fussing as she needs to go into the garden. While he's ranting at DS, she's had an accident in the kitchen. Which he now needs to clear up. If he hadn't spent 5 minutes whinging at DS about loo roll he'd have got DDog out in time.

I doubt he'll see the link, but it has made me smile. I'm planning on taking DS and DDog out for the day, I think we all need some space.

Cats! No wonder the non binary being has issues with incontinence.

How old do these cats look? Perhaps you can add the location of the cats to the drawing.

JohnCheese · 24/10/2016 15:43

Unfortunately said non binary being is now regretting his Brexit vote, as his pension has halved and he now cannot afford to retire and size down to a house where the occupiers will open the door in a timely fashion. Tsk.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 24/10/2016 15:45

Or she could just let the dog out whilst she's putting the washing out?

Oh, FFS. Please tell me you don't seriously believe OP walked past the dog with a load of washing when it was fussing to go out, went out of the door with the washing, but stopped the dog going out? "Why" are you so determined to make this OP's fault?

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 24/10/2016 15:45

That was meant to be Why not "Why".

BusterGonad · 24/10/2016 15:47

The dog is looking to get a job at the local garden center to tide him over but his incontinence is holding him back!
The cats claim to be 12 but actually have beards and are in fact 58.

Bitofacow · 24/10/2016 15:50

It's the OP fault because she has allowed cats to invade the neighbourhood. The non binary being has not been attending his/her therapy sessions and has low self esteem due to the fact he/she is ignored. Brexit is stressing the OPs DH who is taking out his anger on the toilet rolls.

THAT'S why its the OPs fault. Do keep up.

Bitofacow · 24/10/2016 15:52

cats have beards Smile

IAmNotAMindReader · 24/10/2016 15:57

Right so you are busy point scoring that you forget the most basic needs of your dog Angry
Do the poor animal a favour and rehome to someone who will give a shit.

That was sarcastic btw Grin
Sounds like the OP already had enough to do and all her DH had on his plate was replacing a toilet roll (which by the sounds of it are kept in the house just not in the bathroom). Instead, he employed poor time management skills in deciding to moan at a child, rather than letting a dog out (who had already weighed up the situation better than most of the posters here and decided the DH was the least busy and asked him instead of the OP).

BusterGonad · 24/10/2016 15:58

The poor OP couldn't do any thing about the cats through fear of being branded a racist in these Brexiting times!

OnceThereWasThisGirlWho · 24/10/2016 15:59

Buster The cats claim to be 12 but actually have beards and are in fact 58

Ah, but to be fair you do have to allow for their nine lives. Mind you, that's nine lots of NHS care and pensions they'll be after...

Bitofacow Brexit is stressing the OPs DH who is taking out his anger on the toilet rolls.

Personally I don't think the toilet rolls are innocent in this. I mean, I know they're white but they're not like us, they just don't behave themselves. Loitering around in packs, fgs! Mind you one on it's own is even worse news.

BusterGonad · 24/10/2016 16:01

I disagree once, I'd take on one toilet roll but not a whole pack! Maybe a 4 pack at a push....a 6 or 8 pack and I'd be crazy to even attempt it!

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 24/10/2016 16:06

Is Karma the dog's name? Grin

BusterGonad · 24/10/2016 16:07

Ha ha Breakfast! I think you are wrong though as the non binary dog is a vegan!

Bitofacow · 24/10/2016 16:07

Do the toilet rolls have beards?

Buster and OnceThere - never mind the non binary being I am pissing myselfGrin

FerretFred · 24/10/2016 16:07

Actually, I think we need to examine the role of the dog.

If the dog had been pulling his weight he could of changed the toilet roll. So therefore he was the master of his own downfall.

Or perhaps in reality dog doesn't like DH and hid the toilet roll knowing DH would have a meltdown. Whilst watching DH have said meltdown the dog decided to piss on the floor knowing the DH would also cop the blame for it. Double whammy!

All because DH didn't share his dinner with the dog the night before........

BusterGonad · 24/10/2016 16:12

Vito the cats have beards. The toilet rolls are just loitering around waiting to catch you out alone and unarmed!!!!

BusterGonad · 24/10/2016 16:13

Bito I mean!

OnceThereWasThisGirlWho · 24/10/2016 16:26

Bitof The toilet rolls don't have beards, but they do come from Narnia.

Bitofacow · 24/10/2016 16:28

Ahhh so the toilet rolls are violent.
The cats all have beards.
The non binary being is passive aggressive.

OP where are you with that drawing?? We need it now before the DM photographers arrive.

Bitofacow · 24/10/2016 16:30

oncethere wtf?? We just slipped through the looking glass.

BusterGonad · 24/10/2016 16:31

And the house is worth zilch due to the Japanese Knotweed which is out of control!

Shodan · 24/10/2016 16:32

I don't understand why the dog didn't get the loo roll though?

Or why the DH didn't ignore his own bodily requirements to attend the dog's needs?

In fact, while I'm thinking about it, why wasn't the dog resetting the boiler? Or putting out the washing? That would have left the poor OP to attend to her Wifely Duties properly, flitting about with dainty little things like Loo Roll.

Lweji · 24/10/2016 16:38

We need to know the dog's breed.
If anything like a German Shepherd, French Bulldog, Spanish Mastiff, Belgian Malinois or Portuguese Waterdog, then it's probably feeling blue because of Brexit.
An English Toy Spaniel, or Norfolk Terrier, may have actually been rooting for Brexit.

BusterGonad · 24/10/2016 16:40

Shodan wtf...dogs can't fix boilers!!!

TroysMammy · 24/10/2016 16:40

I reckon AIBU is going to get worse as the week goes on when people will be forced enjoy quality time with their children Grin
