I never thought I'd turn into the sort of person who liked a certain mug or wine glass .....

... I used to mock my mother for requesting a certain tea cup. But I've found myself noticing if DH makes me a coffee and its in the 'wrong' mug Blush, and I've just gone back into the kitchen to tip my wine into another glass.

I'm officially old and I've turned into my mother.

I can't help but think just how brave some of you are, buying some mugs off the internet! I have to feel them (with my hands not my face Grin) before I buy them.

I like a mug, preferably a fairly thin one. My favourite one has a crack down the side and the handle broke off, so pens live in it now. The next one I like is just the right size and says 'world's best mum'. Naturally this is Truth as the mug says it.

I think I'm going to clear out the mug cupboard and buy myself a new one. I've seen a lovely cosy looking one in B&M. I'm not fancy Grin

Oh, forgot to say - don't you hate those mugs where you can feel the transfer of the image on them? So horrible.

charleyaarleysaunt - totally feeling your horror!

The gift mug may just be the worst possible gift. Does not even have to be fully unwrapped for horror to seep in - they are almost never any use but what does one do?
