To ask how often you clean under your sofas and beds?

I've just cleaned under our sofas and realised I hadn't done it since before christmas.... eeeeeek. Am I exceptionally clarty? or middle of the road minging? or just live in a normal midden?

Generally when the mice start wiping their feet as they emerge from under them.

I've never cleaned under my current sofa, its too heavy to move. Had it about 4 years. Gap is only about an inch so I would think its fairly dismal under there by now if the grunge under the bed is anything to go by. That gets cleaned about once or twice a year as I have to move other things around before I can move it to get underneath.

Weekly, bit of a routine/habbit now since dd was diagnosed with dustmite allergy when young.

Several times a day. I vaccum about 5 times a day.

Lol I just remembered helping my best friend clean under hers and there was a mouldy old orange under the sofa...might do mine now!

I Hoover under the bed and behind the sofa roughly once every couple of weeks. I can't move the bed myself as it's quite heavy so I need DP to help. We have wooden floors and the amount of dust that seems to accumulate under there is unbelievable!

Behind the sofa is never really that bad to be honest, but i still like to hoover behind it every so often.

Never. Though I did when I had hard floors as big lumps of dust would come out at random times, almost always when we had guests...

Once a year. Maybe less not we dont have DDog to send under the furniture like a live duster. Judge me, I dont care

Once a year , we find money, pens, sweets, it's a treasure hunt

Sofas every week. I can see under them when I do Callanetics and it bothers me!

Beds every year or so

Wood floors - move sofas and Hoover under them every week. Mop floors every week too. Under bed on my side every month or so. On my husband's side never (he has boxes of crap under there and I can't be arses to move them).

Never! Or if I have to move something- but really, very rarely

Well we'll be doing it this weekend as we're having the house recarpeted on Monday. Otherwise... not so much!

I am currently redecorating my bedroom. Just moved the wardrobe and it was like a scene from a horror movie. Cobwebs, dust bunnies, truly shaming

When we move house or get new furniture.

We clean under the sofa when we move it for the Christmas tree

during the cleaning blitz before mil comes for a visit :o

she is absolutely lovely btw, but has ocd and wouldn't feel comfortable unless her environment is very clean.

Sofa I hoover under at least once a week. Our bed I last hoovered under about 2 years ago when we decorated. It's a super king divan and I can't shift it...maybe I should try a little harder it's probably minging under there now.

Once a year at Christmas here too, for sofa.

Beds, maybe a bit more often? Tend to do it based on how dusty the DC get when they've crawled under the bed to play...

Sofa is a big corner sofa with teensy gap on carpet, only pull it out maybe once or twice a year. Big swivelly chair every few weeks when living room gets a thorough hoover in corners and things (roomba does living room daily).

My bed is an ottoman bed so no underneath to hoover :). Guest bed roomba does under once or twice a week when I let him loose upstairs.

once a week and i am a SHIT housekeeper!

there are always socks under there and dusty yuck

i pull it out, hoover and then wipe the floor with floor wipes on a swiffer
