So I have the Hush Tara dress in burgandy , and am a size 8. I wear this with black tights , sturdy boots and a scarf/wooly jumper and coat combo. Asked DP the other day if he liked the way I dressed and he said he'd rather I didn't wear this dress in the day as it was rather provocative ! I'm a mum to a busy crawling and almost walking baby so am on my hands and knees almost as much as I am trying to wipe paint and glue off me, so hardly man hunting at playgroups!
He said it would be more appropriate in the evening for dinners out etc. AIBU to either a)tell him to sod off, b)LTB or c) just wear it anyway?!

If it's this dress, and you wear it in a similar way to the model I wouldnt see it as provocative.

More that I'm not squeezing myself into a size far too small, with the possibility of the dress barely covering myself ! Actually I could do with being much more top heavy to fill out the dress more , so it's not perfect.

I prefer men who don't comment on their preference for what their autonomous, separate, adult human being of a female partner wear. I'm not a fan of the 'passively controlling by dressing up a chauvenistic opinion as a compliment' look.

Well without the brand how would one be able to judge whether or not it was provocative ? I'll include a picture next time to make it clearer. The AIBU was about whether it was provocative or not- I certainly don't think it is.
