So, I asked for a Tudor themed cake for DD's birthday and I got this. I think It looks like the Michelin Man with a massive stonk on. My MIL thinks it looks like a turd which has made me cry. How can I put it in front of the kiddies??!

I wanted to mention the codpiece. Paul Hollywood could hardly keep his smirk under control - and nor could I!

Have you never seen the suit of armour worn by the star Tudor himself, Henry VIII. It's on display in the Tower of London. All I can say is that proportionally, old Harry's codpiece was even more, ahem, aspirational.

He was also more than a bit Michelin Man shaped by the time he tried to impress all around him so pathetiaclly. All in all, that's a highly accurate representation of him, though hopefully without the rotten, pustulating leg wound.
