So, I asked for a Tudor themed cake for DD's birthday and I got this. I think It looks like the Michelin Man with a massive stonk on. My MIL thinks it looks like a turd which has made me cry. How can I put it in front of the kiddies??!

Well the horse looks quite good. Knock £5 off the price and rip off a teenager (Andrew does look about 17)

Soubriquet · 12/10/2016 22:40

It's from GBBO Fluffy

RTFT

TallulahTheTiger · 12/10/2016 22:43

Eat it all first BB then decide if you'll pay.

jobrum · 12/10/2016 22:44

I'd pay £15. Or £450. One of them.

Jizz DH doesn't get why I'm doing that laugh-cry thing. Shame his birthday was last week. Had to explain the teeth to him and he still shrugged.

How about this one for the next gender reveal cake?

Can have a pink dummy and a big ass bow on the head for a girl.

Blue dummy for a boy

ReallyShouldKnowBetterAtMyAge · 12/10/2016 22:53

I was impressed by the horse but then...

2kids2dogsnosense · 12/10/2016 23:03

Dammitt Alberta !

I wanted to mention the codpiece. Paul Hollywood could hardly keep his smirk under control - and nor could I!

Wdigin2this · 12/10/2016 23:04

That's Andrew off Bake Offs cake .....isn't it?

2kids2dogsnosense · 12/10/2016 23:05

I think that that's a lightly toasted Death Horse he's riding, too

PosiePootlePerkins · 12/10/2016 23:08

Well this has made me laugh. Clicked on it thinking seriously, another cake thread?
This is a good cake thread.

BertrandRussell · 12/10/2016 23:11

Since when have you toasted marzipan?

And anyway all the cake peacocks in the country belong to Nadiya.

And can somebody tell me why Will Young has left Strictly,

Memoires · 12/10/2016 23:12

Those knights are very far from gentil and parfit, aren't, fighting with jizz like that. Grin

PosiePootlePerkins · 12/10/2016 23:13

Bertrand its personal ishews. Poor Will no-one understands him.

PickAChew · 12/10/2016 23:14

Toasted marzipan is apparently a thing on simnel cakes, bertrand.

PosiePootlePerkins · 12/10/2016 23:15

I hate marzipanEnvy

scootinFun · 12/10/2016 23:19

Jizz - Your hedgehog has inspired me - I am going to do battle with DH to see who can create the dopiest, most cringeworthy cakes for our birthdays (rubs hands excitedly). Might have to crack one out for Xmas as a trial run!

JedRambosteen · 12/10/2016 23:24

Jizz's cake and the scary rabbit/sheep abomination shortly after will give me bad dreams tonight... Freaky!

Ditsy4 · 12/10/2016 23:24

Oooh yes a reindeer!:)

scootinFun · 12/10/2016 23:35

Ditsy ooh yes, a great big dopey flattened reindeer sporting the biggest grin ever seen and crossed eyes. Random chocolate stix stuck in its head for 'antlers'. Oh the possibilities are endless...

BertrandRussell · 12/10/2016 23:37

Oh yes, I'd forgotten Simnel cake.

And I know it's "personal issues" I want to know what they are! I think I have a right.......
