And why would you vote that way? For you, do you vote for your party or for your local MP?

I am a Corbyn supporter but dislike my local MP for resigning from the front bench. Shame, because she's actually quite a good MP otherwise. I would probably still vote for her to get Labour into power but otherwise I would vote for the Greens.

Based on their education policy alone, another 5 years of the Tories is an unbearable thought. Top it with their disgusting treatment of almost everyone and it becomes even more depressing.

Justanotherlurker · 03/10/2016 21:07

Queen, I think that's been superseded by the recent 'invoking of art 50 by March' statement, plus the headline should really be "could call for an early election" because the original headline is 100% misleading

JeSuisUnChocoholic · 03/10/2016 21:09

Anyone who "forgets" to leave the EU.

Chikara · 03/10/2016 22:19

To return to the original OP. I like my MP very much. He is good, campaigns locally for issues that matter to locals, his voting record is ok considering he represents the party that I really do not like and have never voted for in my life.

The other candidates are useless. So where does that leave me?

As far as Brexit goes it really is stupid to believe that anyone who wanted out of the EU whether they are a high court judge, a left wing teacher or an unemployed ex-miner from Sunderland all voted for the same reasons and that those reasons included a desire to bring back hanging!!

LouisvilleLlama · 03/10/2016 22:23

I don't get it so many saying Corbyn is unelectable that's why they want him out but in a theoretical election are saying they wouldn't vote for him so it's a self fulfilling prophecy

Mozismyhero · 03/10/2016 22:27

Cannot stand Corbyn but couldn't vote anyone else so Labour.

jellybeans · 03/10/2016 23:52

Labour/Corbyn

ginghambox · 04/10/2016 00:07

Conservative, not that they can call an election before 2020 anyway.
Brexit is Brexit meaning no FOM , no single market, it is up to the EU ( Frau Merkel) what happens next.

pooh2 · 04/10/2016 00:09

Labour, my Labour MP is best of a bad bunch and I am a bit of a Corbynista

PurpleTango · 04/10/2016 00:12

I honestly don't know who I'd vote for. Definitely not Corbyn. Even though I have always voted labour I think the Labour party have shot themselves in the foot. I wouldn't vote for Lib Dems or UKIP. Plaid Cymru are a total waste of space and have nothing to offer Wales. I guess I wont bother voting (as there is no party worth voting for) and the Tories will get in again. Ah well.... They are probably the best of a bad bunch ......and that is coming from an avid Welsh, labour supporter........ To vote Corbyn would do Wales more harm than good. He has proved he is not true to himself. How can he expect people to vote for him knowing that our country will suffer under his reign? Why did David Cameron throw in the gauntlet? All we can hope is that Theresa May comes up trumps????? Only time will tell. There is no political party worth voting for at this present time....

Conservative, not that they can call an election before 2020 anyway.

Yes they can. It isn't easy, but certainly not impossible.

Kasparprinceofthieved · 04/10/2016 05:35

Labour, just to stop the Tories destroying the country further.

LittleHoHum · 04/10/2016 08:59

I can't fucking stand corbyn but he wouldn't really be the only one in charge

You are correct. It would be the shady characters surrounding him that would be in charge.

GraceGrape · 04/10/2016 12:23

gingham box where did it say anywhere on the ballot paper that Brexit meant no single market and no freedom of movement??? The option was to leave the European Union, not the single market? ( Sorry, I know this is not the subject of the thread but the Conservative government seems to be taking its policies from the comments section of the Daily Mail - one reason there is not a snowball's chance in hell they would get my vote).
