COULD MY HOUSE HAVE A GHOST?

Since last year I have had strange going ons in my house. For example - seeing things out of the corner of my eyes, a quick glimpse of ghost child, a white sort of apparition walking around my bed at night when I was trying to get to sleep and something white being thrown in my direction and when I look to pick it up it is not there.

Could I be imagining these things?

Is it particularly interesting? Isn't it just saying "I think God created DNA so obviously that must be the only explanation"

Hello,
I don't think you have a ghost because I don't think there are such things as ghosts. However, without projecting things onto you, is is possible you are stressed, tired or hormonal? I ask because for some time, when my DCs were little and I was all of the above, I saw a sort of figure of a woman walking up my stairs. I saw this many evenings around bed time when I was trying to get three little children to bed/read stories/breastfeed when their dad was working shifts. I am fairly sure I created this apparition because of my tiredness etc. I am a terrible coward when it comes to ghost stories or horror films, I can't even read Victorian ghost stories, so a total wimp. But when I saw this figure, and sometimes there was a little dog along with the figure of the woman, I was never frightened. Truly the human brain is a strange thing. I didn't see the figure once the children were older. The last thing that happened was one evening when everyone was past the very early stage, I was bathing the children when I heard my partner walk up the stairs, come into the bathroom, push me sideways, say 'Boo!' in my ear and wrap the shower curtain round me. But he hadn't, there was no one there. And also he never did that sort of stuff. Now I look back, I think I must have had some sort of 'micro sleep', I'm sure I've read about this, must google, and very momentarily dozed off. This is more frightening than anything spooky as I was on my own bathing three children. I felt I was awake, aware, didn't doze off, but it explains what I thought happened.

So not a ghost, maybe you need more rest?

I think we can safely assume they're going to be telling us all how god created everything. I'm not sure it is reasonable to expect balance or neutrality

Or facts.

Well try as they might nobody has come anywhere near coming up with any other explanation. Personally I find it impossible to believe that DNA came out of chaos. Chaos cannot create codes or symbols.

Ah- the old "God of the Gaps" argument.

But a very valid one.

Why not? How can we possibly disprove them. We can only give our opinion. If you think you saw a ghost and are honest with yourself then you probably did.

" If you think you saw a ghost and are honest with yourself then you probably did"

Does that apply to anything else? If you think it it's probably true??
