The dad of one of my DD classmates is seeing the mum of another classmate. His ex is livid because he comes with new partner to collect her kids from school but won't pick up his own and never has.

BIL married (and subsequently divorced) his then girlfriend so she could get a visa to stay in the U.K. and MIL knows nothing of it. DH and I only found out when BIL was about to get married again and his mate let it slip on the stag do.

In 1970 my dad thought my mum was really stressed and tired with the two kids and her job, so he booked her a room at a hotel in Bath for the weekend, and off she drove.
Well when she got there, she met a Persian guy in the lobby and spent the weekend in bed with him....

A friend of my dh and his wife had been trying for a baby for years. Then last year they announced she was pregnant. Everyone was overjoyed for them. Then dh went for a pint with him in the summer and he confessed the baby was the result of an affair his wife had. He's sticking around because he thinks it's his only chance to be a father but he's finding it very hard. Poor guy

A lesbian friend of mine has had an on/off fling with a fairy well known TV presenter for the last couple of years, while TV presenter has been in a relationship with a man. They men through Twitter!

A friend has opened a restaurant in the last year and won several awards for it (Time Out rather than Michelin stars, but still good going...)

DB has renovated two houses for sale, and has made a big fuss of all the overtime he's done at work to finance the renovations etc He's made lots of digs about how successful he is to myself and DSis, and that's he's worked hard to pay off the mortgages, benefited from flipping etc You get the idea.
I live abroad so it doesn't worry me too much but DSis is a single Mum and it gets her down.

DF and DStepM came to visit me last year, with her making a big fuss of all the overtime she had worked to afford the trip to Europe. Six weeks traveling around Europe, DF will always offer to pay for the coffees etc, DStepMum always has her wallet firmly buried at the bottom of her handbag - always known to be cheap but annoying as I'd rejected a contract to take two months off work while she was collecting annual leave pay. She got pick pocketed in France on train - discovered she was carrying €6,400 and £3,750 in CASH!!! I felt horrible, she wanted to cut the trip short and return to our place. DH and I paid for new flights and bit our tongue over the 50% cancellation fees... Bye bye €1,400.

Went home three months ago to surprise family, arrived on a Friday morning so used parents spare key to get in. Decided to go into the occupied granny annex to sort out some of my belongings stored there... There's a bloody cannabis farm in it!! My DStepM and DB are in cahoots together! DB came flying in after seeing me on the security camera thinking I was raiding his farm... Turns out the house renovations and her bloody spending money are all profits!

My Art teacher and my DT teacher, EVERYONE knew they were shagging, an everyone knew years later when he cheated not long in to the marriage with another staff member, his wife had, mercifully for her changed schools.

Not nearly as exciting as the ones here, but I still wonder how C coped with seeing A, every day, in B's arms... Family reunions were bound to be tense...
