I'm trying to think of my best gossip.

Oh this one's better (because I care less about those involved). Two women at work, let's call them A and B, both fancy the same male colleague. There was an investigation recently because according to B, A "pulled a knife" on B in the staff kitchen.

Turns out A had waved around the butter knife she was already using to butter her toast to emphasise her words while she was telling B to back off because their mutual crush had shagged A in the stationery cupboard earlier that week. A wasn't disciplined for "pulling a knife" but she was for having sex at work. I know all this because both A and B will tell their respective versions to anyone who pauses by the photocopier long enough.

Both grown women in their 40s btw, in case anyone was picturing teenagers.

Quiet neighbourhood, no one about during the day. Or so I thought. I step outside to clean my garage at 1 pm to hear moans from my neighbour's garden. Being nosy, I go upstairs and look to see the neighbour from house no 1 and the one from no 3 shagging in full view. I need acid for my eyes. Oh, and they saw me. :( No 3's wife just had a baby last week.

I think my neighbour has a mini cannabis farm in their house.....

A's Fiance dumped her at Christmas, she went round to his parents whom he'd gone back to and made a bit of a show herself, demanding to know the reason he'd ended it. It was a bit of an unedifying scene and she went back a few days later to apologise to his DM. The ex fiance was in Spain with the girl he'd been seeing behind her back. The DM knew and said nothing.

My cousin left his wife for the office cleaner, leaving her virtually destitute, in a foreign country and obliged to legally remain his wife for years until she got right to remain. Cousin put his new house in his mistresses name so his wife couldn't claim against it and she had to take him to court for every penny he gave their son. He has now moved to another foreign country thousands of miles from his DC for another new woman. He is an embarassment.

A member of my family is a convicted sex offender. Half the family don't know about it because he only got a suspended sentence and kept his job. His deluded wife has stuck by him because she's convinced the victim made it up.

I know a married couple through a hobby. Saw the chap on Tinder a few months ago.
I haven't said anything; she might know, for all I know.

Oh, and I know what Michael 'Lord of the Dance' Flatley says during sex.

P.S: My dad's cousin is a former famous-ish actor and a convicted peado.
Never had any contact with that side of the family thank god.

Married head of the schools PTA is having an affair with head teacher of the same school despite him being 40+ years older.
I only found out because head teacher lives close and we have caught her leaving his house more than once when she was supposedly away with work.

Also friends just divorced her husband and told everyone it's for financial reasons. However she is really sleeping with her childs female teacher.

Oh... I have one! Many years ago, before dh and dd I slept with a now famous comedian, before he was very famous.

SIL wants to leave BIL, but won't as she's scared of him having unsupervised access to the kids, or palming them off on family during his time with them.

They're both potheads who get high in front of the children regularly, and personally I think the kids would do well with some care from the wider family.

Member of the group of kids I grew up with is a Paedophile. He's in jail, for having "inappropriate pictures" according to his family ... But no one gets that long just for pictures.

Guy who lives across the street from me had a decade long affair with one of the past contestants on a very popular baking program. He and his wife stayed together (!!!) but once this lady got sort-of famous from being on said baking show, it dragged everything up again and his wife finally left him.

Friend of mine was "accidental death" while on holiday. Husband has been overheard boasting that he has committed "the perfect murder". His previous relationship ended in partner's death in suspicious circumstances too.

Two very senior managers at my work - both married - are having a pretty public affair. The male manager was far less senior before he started an affair with the head of HR.

Anything, which comedian? Clues. For some reason I'm imagining it's Michael McIntyre.

What a shame I've reached the end of this thread, it's the best one I've read for ages. Can't wait to see if anymore posted overnight.
