I don't know if this is gossip... But the previous winner of GBBO buys their baking stuff from costco. The stuff they store under the cake display. No clue what it is. They are in white plastic boxes. Some sort of icing?

I met a guy online, then in the flesh who told me he was a property developer. Turned up in fancy (super)cars, very well dressed, posh restaurants etc. Didn't hear from him for 48 hours then got a call from the police. He's currently doing 8 years for fraud plus various other charges. Lucky escape for me!

former colleague's wife was visiting her family abroad for a few weeks. Wife didn't realised his Facebook was logged in on her phone and found messages to other women that he'd slept with the past week. Decided to cut her holiday short and literally walked in on him in bed with another woman

DD1 has some...questionable friends. One slept with a talent show runner up a few weeks ago, another regularly sleeps with some boyband member even though he is publically known to be in a relationship, apparently that's ok because the girlfriend is a "fame whore"

I'm not being precious, it's just that the circumstances are quite unusual and therefore IDing and it involves a friend. The chances of the individual posters who have chosen to PM knowing her are way slimmer than hundreds of people casually browsing/posting/lurking online
